"Asuna dear, go open the door" Mrs Yuuki shouts from downstairs. Asuna comes down the stairs and opens the front door and to her shock it was Suguha and Kirito. "Oh my god it's been so long you guys!" She says and hugs the both of them tightly but only Suguha returns the hug. Kirito pulls out first and brings all their boxes inside and places them in the living room.

"Mom, dad? Why are they moving in? I mean it's not a bad thing! But you never told me" Asuna says looking at her parents. "Yeah nor did we honey... until recently when their parents lost their lives." Her mom says and Asuna goes wide eyed. Suguha looked upset but she couldn't read Kirito's expression. He stood up and left the room.

"Is he okay?" Her father asks.

"No... he's been like that ever since. I guess he blames himself" Suguha says.

"What why!? It was a car crash..." Asuna's mom says.

"Well they got into a heated argument before all of that happened and Kirito went out for fresh air and my parents wen out for a meeting with the nobles but the accident occurred" Suguha says and she had tears forming in her eyes.

"The worst part is... Kirito's mental state is bad. I've seen bruises and cuts whenever he comes home late. I fear that he may do something" Suguha says.

"Oh my god... don't worry honey we will take good care of both of you" Mrs Yuuki says.

<Time Skip - 1 week - Kirito's PoV>

I spent the week avoiding any bits of contact with people and Asuna's family. I can't live with myself anymore. I am a monster. I had also been ignored by my classmates because I was a mute but I didn't care apart from one cocky bastard. Name was Calem. He was dating Asuna but I knew he was with other girls at the same time. Poor Asuna. She still trusts the guy but it's not my place to control.

Apart from that. I went about every night scouting for the portal that would take me to him. I had decided that it shall be done in order to take my revenge. I would become the vessel for the Devil. People call him a myth. But I've made contact and convinced him to side with me as we have a mutual enemy.

I also spent my nights scouting for enemies but end up fighting wild demons. They are not as bad as the ones from the territory.

I sat up in my bed it was midnight. Time to head out again. I grab my black cloak and sword and head out my room. But I see Asuna's room was slightly open. And the light was on and I could hear muffled voices. I creep my way over there and peak inside out of interest. I regret it.

It was Calem and Asuna. They were having a make out session with Calem all over her breasts and feeling her lower parts. I felt annoyed but in the end what do I care! The groans were annoying. Ugh why am I watching this. I have better things to do.

I head downstairs and close the front door quietly behind me and head into the nearby woods. And in an instant I felt dark aura swirling around and I drew my sword instantly. This was much more powerful and dangerous enough to destroy a whole country. I need to find the source!

I decide to run deeper into the woods and look for this source but I could feel it move around almost like it was mocking me and making me try and catch it...

Hold up... it wants me to catch it? The devil? I stop and stand still and cut my palm releasing blood. I then clasp my hands and use the dark techniques I picked up and search for this aura and find it ahead of me.

"Come out. Devil" I say and put away my sword. "How lovely to see you again... last time we met you were begging with tears for my help. But I'm surprised you would seek my help" Devil spoke.

"We are the same after all. Want the same revenge. Been betrayed the same way and watched loved ones die the same way. Oh and infested with cursed magic due to hate." I say.

"Hmm... so you must know that I was a cast away by my own family who made me into the devil. Cursed me with everything and left me to rot in the territory all because I was different. But they snatched my sister and took away my body" The devil spoke.

"The same ones that killed my family. Killed your sister! That's why I seek your powers. I will seek vengeance for the both of us." I say.

"I've always admired you Kazuto... but with my soul there will be huge consequences. After all magic comes with a price. Remember that" He says to me.

"I'm ready for anything... I'm not afraid of death. After my revenge I won't have much to live for other than with my regrets. So if it costs my life then so be it" I say.

"It's a brave thing to not fear death but it's stupid to ask for it. You will find something to live for. But for now... the set backs. You will be in pain worse than torture the first few times you use my power. But after you control my soul and prevent it from eating yours you will be fine" He explains.

"Understood!" I say.

"Now to form a pack so we don't betray each other" He says and pulls out a blade and throws it to me. I catch it and examine it.

"Stab yourself straight in the chest"
