Not Making Love Anymore

Trouble with dad

"Where were you all day? How was school? Why havent you called us?" My dad had this way of asking a thousand questions at one time to overwhelm you even more.

"Sorry my phone died I couldnt call you I was at the mall all day." I was walking up the stairs as I said that and my mom and dad started to follow behind. "Who did you go with?"

She rose one of her eyebrows up in per suit to scare me, but I dont lie to my mom. Me and her have a very open relationship. She knows I'm not a virgin Anymore and that I lost it to my first love. But my dad was there and i wasnt about to tell him who i was with. But i still did.

"I was with my new friend hunter." My mom looked at me in a surprised but not so surprised face as I answered.

My dads face turned red but he knew he cant do anything so he jist said with a stern look "give me your phone your grounded"

"But dad i said i was sorry my phone was dead you can even check yourself " after i said that he tried to turn the phone on only to see it was dead and i was right.

"It still doesnt neglet the fact that you didnt call, im sure whatever his name is had a phone" he was still mad and i dont know why its not like he was ever there he always worked and when he was home he meddled in my life.

"Why didnt you call me from his phone huh?" He continued to poke it out of me.

"My phone was dead and i dont know your number by heart." I said it not looking at him because deep down he terrified me.

"What do you mean you dont knkw my number?" His tone got harsh.

"Well whats the point when you were always working and wouldn't even pick up if i called. It got sent straight to voicemail just like moms calls did." At this point my voice accelerated.

"Your grounded this weekend end of discussion." He said his last wlrds so coldy and left.

"Uh you ruin everything" i was about to cry how could he do this! Im just going to go to my room and sleep.

(Knock knock)

"Come in mom" I knew it was my mom because my dad was going to lock himself in his dungeon to stay away me.

"So who is he one of your new lover boys?" My mother always thought every guy that was my friend liked me. She also had a way to make me laugh. She even thought my best friend Cole liked me. He has a girlfriend that hes been with for years so thats way out of the question.

"No but he is really cute mom" I rolled my eyes as I told her because I didnt want her to think I was falling so easy for the guy. "Well Im sure both me and your dad would love to meet him." She got cut off by my dad as he started to speak. "Who would we love to meet? You were with a boy?!" "That boy you were so busy at the mall with you couldnt call me!?" He turned red from confusion anger whatever you call it.

"Yes I was with a friend I met at school and its nothing, now will you both leave or would you like to see me undress?" I was speaking in my outside voice which I'm pretty sure got my dad mad. "I'm taking your laptop privileges for the week. Next time call when you have plans." My dad always found a way to get the last word out of everything. I guess thats why he was a lawyer.

Sydney: hey how was your first day boo ? :)

I should just call her it would be way easier then texting anyways. I changed into some pink sweats from victoria secret and a white Bebe muscle shirt then dialed my best friends number. *Beep beep boop*
