Ch 9

Waking up I try to go to rub my eyes but frown when I feel my hands are cuffed. I look around seeing that I'm in a very sterile white room. Frowning I try to move around but feel myself locked against a bed. That's when I notice I'm not alone. I see a girl and a boy my age right across from me also locked against sterile white beds. The girl stares at me with dark blonde hair and piercing blue eyes that match her brother's from what I can tell. "Did you get ambushed too?" I slowly nodded at her. "Yeah my friend and I were looking around one of the zones and got ambushed." She nods and I ask curiously seeing scars some old some new on her and her brothers skin. "How long have you been here?" She gave me a sad expression looking over to her sleeping brother. "A few weeks." I frown at that. "What's your name?" She gives me a little smile. "I'm Shooting Star and this is my twin brother Sun Ray." I nodded at her. "I'm Silent Racer nice to meet you." Suddenly the door opens and a chill immediately goes down my spine when I see Korse. He walks into the room trailed by Drac's and scientists. "Well look what we have here. You and your sister may have escaped the first time Racer but I plan on having a big family reunion soon. I see you've met my children." Raising an eyebrow I looked at Star sympathetically. "Poor them. It's bad enough I know you. They have to live with the fact that your pathetic creepy ass is their dad." I felt a sharp sting spread across my face my head snapping to the side. I looked at Korse and spit a wad of blood in his face. He wiped it off angrily and wrapped his hand around my throat squeezing. I squirmed trying to get away but could hardly move thanks to the locks pinning me down. He finally let go after awhile and I breathed heavily trying to catch my breath. I glared at Korse with hatred. You see the reason my sister and I left battery city was because Korse got our mom addicted to the pills. When my sister and I refused to take the pills and escaped it made him very angry. Especially since Korse is our uncle. Yeah that's right I'm his nephew. I didn't know he had kids though because I mean who the hell willingly did it with Korse and had kids with him? Snapping out of it I saw the scientists bringing out a bunch of needles and knives and scalpels. My mouth immediately went dry and I saw Korse smirk. "Have fun you three." I watched him leave and looked at Star and Ray all of us having a slight look of fear on our faces.
