•Mabel's POV•

When we got the unexpected letter, I was curious to what was causing so much destruction that Grunkle Ford had to get us involved, I thought as we hopped onto the bus that would take us to one place that really touched my heart when I was a kid. I hope Grenda and Candy still live there as well, I think to myself getting all giddy thinking about our very girly sleepovers. "Hey Dipper, do you think Wendy still lives in Gravity Falls?" I ask him, wiggling my eyebrows up and down, never getting over the fact of how childish I still am.

"Hmm, we'll there's a chance" he pauses and looks out the window. "Wait-that is not what we're going there for, Grunkle ford asked us to come help him out, not to have fun and talk with girls" he answered, as he straightened his ball cap, onto his Dipper like head.

I roll my eyes. "Whatever. Hey look it's the sign to Gravity falls" I announce, leaning over Dipper trying to get a good view of the small but definitely weird town. I smile, whatever is coming, we the pine twins will fight it.

•Grunkle Ford•

When I wrote the twins the letter I only prayed they got it and came as soon as possible. They never answered me, and it's been making me insanely anxious. "Uh, what if the letter didn't even make it to them. What if someone else got it instead!!" I questioned as I paced around the living room.

My brother sighed. "Calm yourself would ya, listen I bet the moment they got the letter they hopped onto the next bus for here, now sit down and enjoy a cold one" he coos handing out a can of beer.

I give in, maybe he was right I just need to relax and patiently wait for them to arrive. I slump down onto the couch, grabbing the can and sipping the fresh but bittersweet drink.

•Dipper POV•

When we got off the bus, we walked to grunkle stans and Ford's new cottage. They ended up building when they were done with their journey on the Stan O' war. As we walked through the town we saw some familiar faces, lazy Susan working the dinner, sheriff Blubs and deputy Durland doing some weird friendship hug or something. All was pretty much the same in the odd but great town of Gravity falls, so why the urgent letter, what could be possibly worse than Bill.

This stuck in my mind until we were faced with someone who looked like they didn't belong here, but definitely had an aura that said otherwise. He looked at us, making a small shiver rise up my back, I looked over at Mabel who looked excited as ever. She obviously didn't notice the guy, but he did look to be around our age so maybe he was just new. Whoever he was, he wasn't our problem.

Finally after a long and tiring day, we arrived at the cottage. We knocked on the door at the same time, waiting for an answer.. Nothing, maybe the two Grunkle's were out, we tried the doorknob surprisingly it was unlocked. The two of us walked in, seeing the clean but odd smelling house. Was that alcohol? I sniffed, as we walked deeper into the house, seeing an interesting picture. They're stood Grunkle stan trying to wake up a rather intoxicated Grunkle Ford? It was definitely unlike Ford to drink, especially when something like this bad of a situation happens.

"Ha, the old geezer is drunk" Mabel declared a little bit too loud, thus causing Grunkle Stan, who was also intoxicated to look behind him, seeing us.

•Grunkle Stan POV•

After a long day of Ford running around the house, worrying and getting more and more impatient with the twins and whether or not they were coming. I finally had enough, I told the guy to sit down and relax, maybe even have a drink or two. He gave in, which surprised me. It's been hard this past week, we've seen things that even I thought would never scare me, but oh hell was I wrong. After a little nap, which was very fortunate since Ford had finally gone to sleep. A expected knock came from the door, I would have to get it myself, but i figured Ford should be awake. I was also quite drunk so I didn't want the two kids seeing me like this.

I sit up from my lazy boy, going to my brother, shaking him and mumbling random stuff about Bill or what not. He never woke, I shook harder. Thankfully he snorted. Poor guy must be tired.  Before I knew it, the pine twins were in the living room, making such a sly comment it made me chuckle. "How have you two been" I say going over to them giving them a great big hug, before I decide to give them each a noogie for old times sake.
