Chapter 12

Charlie

Charlotte clutched the packet of paper's in her hand as she stood in front of Angel's door. It had been almost a month since they actually spent time together. She looked at the packet and sighed, it was gonna be even longer than that. She knocked on the door.

She heard Fat Nuggets squeal before the sound of a bed creaks, "Oh hey Charlie," Angel says casually neither realizing he is almost completely nude.

Charlie responds, "H-hey! I wanted to uh... talk to you about something. I've been real busy and," she didn't even realize she was avoiding looking him in the eye until they found themselves in his lower region. With that she yelled, "GO GET SOME CLOTHES ON," and turned away.

The door closed a few seconds after. Charlie stood there shaking her head and blushing slightly, she couldn't get the image out of her head. The female demon stood there for what felt like ages, waiting for the Spider Demon to open the door. A click sounded and the door opened, "Ok, now what is it hun," Angel asked.

"Sooo, I was able to get an actual interview and a slight vacation, so I was leaving you in charge," Angel looked a little dumbfounded.

"Sorry, Sugar, what'd you say?"

"I said, 'You are in charge,' you got that?"

Angel nods slightly confused way, "Why me?"

"Vaggie is coming with me."

"So?"

Charlie slapped herself with the packet of papers, "Because you are the only one hear that we trust to do the right thing."

Angel was obviously amused in his voice, "So you are leaving me, in charge?"

"Yes."

"Alright, I'll have this place spotless before you get back," hr smirks and snaps his fingers.

Charlie looks at him and shyly responds, "Please don't do anything against regulation."

"Oh trust me, I'll be fine."

"That's not what I'm worried about."

His face was confused then he just laughed, "Oh! Ok."

Charlie sat in the car next to Vaggie, obviously nervous. Vaggie herself seemed a little unsettled, but never the less their determination is all that mattered.
