Complicated

<Kirito's PoV>

The three of us waited for Asuna and Calem to enter the restaurant but frankly I knew he wouldn't give to much information to me so I asked Sortiliena to question him while I just stared out the window. But I came as I anticipated something happening. The devil sensed it so I decided to hang around. Sugu was annoyed that she had to speak to Calem and I would understand but emotions are long.

Asuna and Calem then enter hand in hand and they looked happy. But deep down that fake face I knew something was planned. The two of them spotted us and sat down in front of us.

"Sorry for the wait guys..." Asuna says.

"Hi... um my name is Calem. And I know you've heard bad things about me. But I promise i just want to keep Asuna happy and I hope today we can be friends and I can be accepted by you guys" He says and I could smell the lies like that. But we have to play his game today for us to get information.

"My my... you seem the gentlemen! Guys he doesn't seem bad" Sortiliena says but I ignored her as I spotted some unease outside the window. A few cars rolled up. They were SUV's. It looked all to familiar.

"No... I can't believe him like that! He's already cheated on Asuna once he'll do it again!" Sugu says and Sortiliena laughs. "She's a hard one to impress isn't she?" Asuna says with a nervous chuckle. This was a waste of my time but those SUV. Oh my god. They found me... I then saw the restaurant door swing open but no one was there. Of course no one spotted it. I then look out the window again. The SUV were parked near the exit.

I sighed. Such a weak attempt at an assassination I thought. I knew the guy was using invisibility but it was rookie level for me. I spotted him above me.

"Get down and face me like a man" I say.

"Kirito kun? Who are you talking too" Asuna asks but I  ignore  her and reach above and grab the guys collar and slam him against the table. His invisibility wears off and he was revealed to everyone. "Laughing coffin I knew it" I spat and lift this guy and throw him across into a wall.

"Kirito? Situation!?" Sortiliena asks. "Assassins" I whispered back and walk to the failed assassin who was knocked out. I drew my sword debated whether I kill. The temptation with my power was huge but that would make it easier for me to become a devil. I don't wanna speed that up otherwise I won't have control anymore.

"Kazuto... how lovely to see you again" I turn around and see Death gun. He had my sister at gun point and one of his henchmen on Sortiliena meaning she couldn't act either. This pissed me off... so they target my sister to get to me. How petty and low. But it sure pissed me off.

"You've made this personal... so I'm not holding back anymore" I say and mid sentence I could feel the devils power at work. I was soon engulfed in dark aura and my appearance was no half and half. One side of my face had black line go through my eye. And my eye became red on that side while my other stayed black.

"If you move one step I will shoot her" death gun says and all I could do was smirk at his ignorance. I shadow step at the speed of light and appear behind him. "Boo." I whisper and cut his arm off which held the gun and there was a blood curdling scream as he dropped to the ground. I was not showing mercy now. He targets my innocent sister.

"You shoot at the Devil but you best not miss" I hiss and plung my sword into his back and I could feel his groans become softer and softer as the he goes unconscious. I then remove my sword and his body drops like flies.

"Oni chan?" Sugu mutters.

I then appear behind the second henchmen who had Sortiliena and stab him in the back and his body drops.

"Don't mess with me. Or my family" I mutter angrily and then I began to feel the sharp stings of using the power and drop to my knees in pain. I'm overcome with immense amounts of pain and lose the senses in my body for a few seconds.

"Kazuto!" Sortiliena and Asuna run to men and help me up and sit me down in a seat. I was breathing heavily trying to engulf all the pain searing through my body.

"You just killed two people!" A person says.

"They're unconscious and a group of assassins just call the police now" I say with the energy I still had left in me. The pain had eased and I look out the window and see the cars beginning to leave. I stand up and move my way past people.

"Kirito kun! Where are you going! You are in condition to fight" Asuna says.

"Kazuto stop being reckless and stay. The police can do their job" Sortiliena says.

"No... and I still don't trust you" I say looking at Calem dead in the eyes. "But if Asuna wants to keep you then I don't care but don't even think about getting friendly to me" I say and leave the restaurant and chase after the cars.
