CHAPTER 6

Maaga akong nagising at umuwi para makapagbihis, pero bago ako pumunta sa kompanya ay dumalaw muna ako sa hospital para mag paalam kay Grey, baka magtampo nanaman kasi ito.

"Baby, I need to work, okay?"

"But Mama, I want you here with me-"

"Baby Grey, I promise when you get discharge, we will go to wherever you wanted us to go. Okay? Pero for now, Mama needs to work, para may pera tayo." Sabi ko habang hawak hawak ang likuran ng ulo niya.

Nakasimangot na tumango naman si Grey .I kissed his forehead and smile at him.

"Mama, I want a kiss sa lips." Sabi niya while pouting. I did what he want me to do so. "I love you mama, come back early ha?" Sabi niya pa.

"I love you more, baby." Sabi ko at hinalikan sya ulit sa labi bago umalis.

I sigh as I walk towards dwanes office, I hope he'll not make our fake engagement known in public.
Kumatok ako sa pinto niya at di nagtagal ay sinabihan niya akong pumasok na.

"Get in." Sigaw niya.

Agad naman syang nag-angat nang tingin sa akin pagkapasok ko. Binitawan niya ang hawak hawak niyang papeless at he motioned me to sit.

"About your deal-"

"Yeah about it, I'm about to call you, buti nalang at nandito ka na, sit down first, what do you want coffee, juice or-"

"Sir, I am your secretary and not your visitor so don't treat me like one." Pagpapa-alala ko sa kaniya.

"But you're my fiance -"

"Don't tell me you-"

"Yes."

I frown and clenched my fist. "Yes what?"

"Yes I did. Actually the news about us getting married is now on a magazine, you know I'm a well-known person at-"

"Pero wala tu sa pinag-usapan natin!" I can't help but raise my voice.

"Ano pang magagawa ko? Deny it? You know I can't do that, I have to get Brianna back before revealing the truth." Makahulugang sabi niya.

I sigh and nodded in agreement.
"You're right." Sabi ko, at nagsimula nang humakbang para umalis na sa opisina niya.

"Where are you going?"

"Sa cubicle ko, may ipapagawa ka ba?" Tanong ko at hinarap sya.

"Actually I want you to be the vice president -"

"No." Matigas kong sabi.

He pressed his lips into a grimace. "But you're my fiance-"

"For the mean time, just for the mean time. Sir, I accepted your offer for my son's sake ,The role I must play is me being your fiance and not the gold digger .Okay na ako sa pagdoble mo sa sahod ko, sobra sobra na kung ilalagay mo ako sa posisyon na di ko naman pinaghirapan, Sir ayaw kong magmukhang gold digger, siguro nga yun na ang iniisip ng mga tao eh, panu pa kaya kung ilagay niyo ako sa posisyon na sinasabi mo."

"But-"

"Sir, Tama na po, may gagawin pa ako."

He sigh in defeat. "You better stop calling me Sir you know, call me by names."
