3rd POV
"Mama! Can you tuck me into bed!" The young Russian boy asked his mother who was downstairs arguing with the boy's father. "Yes sweetie just wait a moment!" The boy heard his mother say with a crackled voice. He was worried for his mother but sleep overcame him and he soon drifted off to sleep without getting tucked in.
The boy's POV
I woke up feeling coldness underneath me but it felt.. like.. fur?.. I couldn't see anything because my vision was just pitch black. I tried to say something but immediately my throat started to ache. My hands were tied up to something and it seemed like I was traveling somewhere because I kept moving side to side and feel thumps every once in a while. Was I kidnapped?? I thought to myself. Again I tried to talk but then I felt someone untie my hands and take my blindfold off and I thought I was face to face with my step dad but I didn't get time to comprehend before I was thrown out of this truck or car and landed onto hard concrete. I had a blanket over me which I didn't even notice before. I wrapped the blanket around me as I shivered in the cold air and watched the car speed away.
I looked around and saw lights, festival stands, and multiple large buildings with people everywhere who were walking around and talking to one another. I was about to cry once I remembered that this wasn't where I lived and I didn't recognize this place at all. Did my step dad or whoever that was really just leave me here..? No he'll be back right?! I thought as tears escaped my eyes. "Hey are you okay?!" I heard a female voice say from behind me. I turned around to be faced with a pretty woman with blonde hair who almost looked like my mama. I just shook my head 'no' to her question since I couldn't talk. She grabbed my hand and helped me up. "Why are you out here so late and where are your parents?" The lady asked in a worried voice. I was going to tell her that my step dad kidnapped me and threw me out here but again I wasn't sure if that was really him. I mean why would he possibly do that anyways right?
To respond to her comment I just shrugged my shoulders. "Okay.. my name is Velvet by the way! I will be taking you to an orphanage to stay for tonight and in the morning you will be transferred to the police station to answer some questions alright?" Velvet said with a warm smile that instantly calmed me. I nodded my head and we were on our way to the orphanage. I definitely won't be sleeping tonight.
