I went upstairs and took a shower before I threw on some comfortable clothes. Tomorrow was the day. I somehow had to ask Noel to come with me. I've also never seen him wear a suit and tie. This was going to turn out interesting.

The rest of the day turned out pretty chill. Granny and I watched Friends, which was her favorite TV show. I only watched it when she asked me to and today just turned out as a Granny - Granddaughter day.

Watching movies, talking, reading Tarot cards, drinking tea and laughing. I could do that all day.

Upstairs I brushed my teeth and went into my room after wishing Granny a good night. Noel's room was dark when I entered mine and I sat down on my bed and turned my lamp on my nightstand on. I walked over to my window and opened it for the night.

Sitting on my bed I spotted Noel walking inside his room. He winked at me and I smiled in response. He wore nothing but a pair of joggers. Dear Lord, he's freaking hot and that guy is mine? How do I deserve that?

Walking over to his closet, which door still was missing and threw on a grey tee. He switched his lights off and I went to bed too after I set my alarm on my phone.

"Ugh, shut up!" I growled and turned my alarm off after a dreamless night.

I peeled myself out of my bed and walked over to my closet and dresser and picked out my outfit for today. The sun was shining bright and filled my room with a summery warmth. June first. One of my favorite days and my favorite month.

I was turning eighteen in exactly twenty days.

I threw my short denim dungaree on my bed, followed by a black and white striped t-shirt and my white vans. I got dressed and went into the bathroom to get ready. On my way downstairs, I pulled half my hair up into a bun and went into the kitchen.

"Morning." I greeted Granny with a peck on her cheek and grabbed my lunch for school from the fridge. Pouring a cup of coffee, I sat down opposite from her.

"You look great. Excited for your birthday?" I rolled my eyes at her with a smile. "You know that I really don't like the attention and hate birthday parties." Granny nodded and reached for my hand.

"I know that, but I think you have to tell that your friend Max."

I frowned at her comment and looked up at her from my cup of coffee, "What do you mean?"

"She asked me which cake flavor you like."

"I'm going to kill her." I grumbled while I sipped my coffee and met her eyes again. "What did you tell her?"

"Naked, classic red velvet cake with fresh fruit topping." She grinned cheekily. I started laughing. "She will never top mine." Granny nodded admitting and laughed too.

"You have to sent me a pic. I have to know if her cake looks better than the one you made for my birthday."

I nodded, laughing and finished my coffee. I got up from my chair and put my cup in the dishwasher.

I turned around and smiled at her. "Alright, I should go now. Love you."

"Love you too, Sweetheart."

I grabbed my bag and keys and opened the door. Before I even made a step outside, I collided with a hard chest. His black sneakers, black jeans and dark blue t shirt were the first thing I saw.

I rose my eyes and smiled at him.

"We're taking my bike."

"Good morning Noel." I stood on tip toe and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, before I stepped around him, ignoring his demand.
