It is 2029, 10 years since the War of Monsters began. Monsters have had to put behind their differences and band together to fight the Hunter Armies. Even though they have fought and died together, bitter rivalries still poison the Monster's Coalition. Just because you are united, doesn't mean you are together....

A great battle was raging on. Bullets split the air, like a knife through butter. Maddy looked around in that miserable little trench and saw dead bodies monster of her comrades and friends, who were torn apart by bombs and bullets. The monsters had pushed the humans to the breaking point. Maddy looked over the trench and saw it was a 500 yard dash to the enemy trench. "WE NEED TO MOVE!!!" Maddy shouted at her men. They all looked hopeless. They had all been shot at relentlessly for 3 weeks. They were all very tired and hungry. "Everyone! We can win this! You all need to trust me!!" Maddy shouted at her men. She looked towards her best friend Lucas. Lucas was a shape shiftier who Maddy had known for many years. "Lucas, take some men and cover my advance!" Maddy commanded Lucas. "Maddy, that's a suicide mission! You'll never make it there!!" Lucas pleaded. Maddy smirked,"Watch me!" Maddy lifted herself out of the trench and began running through a fiery battle field, littered with dead monsters and men. Her men watched as she ran fearlessly towards the enemy. Her men rallied and followed her, some were shot as they got out of the trench, others afterwards. Maddy dodged bullets and neared the enemy's weapons. She jumped into the trench and began to slice the soldier into pieces with her claws. What remained of Maddy's men joined her in the fight. Werewolves, Vampires, and Ghouls alike fought against the human soldiers, causing them to jump out of the trench and retreat. The monster's began to rejoiced, for they had won this battle.

Several days later, monsters began to flood the trenches. Maddy stood in a tent. Her entire body was covered in dirt and blood as she stood in front of a desk. Her commanding officer looked at Maddy. "Maddy Wolf. You have been on the front lines for, how long is it now?" Her commanding officer took off his glasses and looked at her, inquisitively. Maddy looked at him,"5 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days. 3 weeks fighting here, and the rest fighting for control of the Rio Grande. I was transferred out of there with my men after the hunter's broke through our lines." The commanding officer stood up and grabbed a cigar. He lit it and began to smoke while looking at Maddy. "I heard about your little suicide run that won us this very costly battle. That I admire about your kind. All of you are very..... fearless. But with that fearlessness, comes great pride. Pride in this war can be costly, Captain. And because of that pride, we lost five-thousand soldiers all because you refused to retreat. Now tell me, was it worth it?" Maddy began to feel slightly enraged,"No sir." The commanding officer looked at her and smiled,"Glad to hear Captain. But none the less, you won us a great victory. For that, we are reassigning you." The commanding officer grabbed a sheet of paper and began to write on it. He handed her a piece of paper,"Our soldiers in Colorado have reported finding something. Something that could win us this war." Maddy took the piece of paper and looked at it," What the fuck did they find?" The commanding officer looked at her,"That is for you to find out. There is a plane waiting to take you and your men to Boulder. Dismissed." Maddy saluted and walked out of the tent.
