Dear Noah,
We first officially met when we had the same first subject. You bumped me on our first day of class and left me with my things scattered on the hallway without even apologizing. In my mind, it was my worst day ever. Plus, I already really thought I might hate you for the rest of my life but I guess it's really true that first impressions never last forever..

'"Noah! Hey! Are you even listening? I am-- ", Maggie is basically shouting at my face with her obvious ugly look of annoyance. Seriously? I'm not up with her immature dramas right now. It's the first day of my senior year for pete's sake! I really need a serious break from all of this.
"Mag, I'm breaking up with you." There, I said it, finally.
" -- Wait! What?! No babe. Noah, you can't do this to me. You know how much I love you. You can't do this right now. I need you. You know that. Please." Oh jezz. She's really gonna use that crying-lady-act with me. There's no way she'll get me with those fake tears. I'm so enough of her.
"No, Maggie. I can. And yes! You need me. But only for prom night, right? Homecoming king and queen? I'm enough with all of these, Mag! I'm not someone you could just use for your fame. I'm sorry but we're done." And that's for a good exit. Maggie is officially out of my priority list. All I need right now is to focus with my team and my senior year. I already planned this all throughout summer. Nothing will go over my way. Not even Maggie. If we'll win the championship for this year, that'll be surely my golden ticket to ADMU varsity.
The second bell already rang. If Maggie hadn't been so overly dramatic maybe I'm not gonna run like a chased mouse to my first subject. I looked at my watch. I only have two more minutes. And then,
"Oww! Can't you see where you're going?" There she was. Dark brown hair, gray eyes, flushed cheeks and --- Oh shocks! I remember I'm late. I continued running towards my first subject luckily I made it to the room before Mrs. Reyes arrived. She's a brunette, old, fashionable lady who will be my World Literature teacher for this year. I heard she's really into Shakespeare.
"Good morning class! Welcome back to Grover International Academy for your last academic year here. You're all seniors so I'm expecting so much from all of you. Today, we will discuss---"
"Uhm? Excuse me, ma'am. Good morning." Jezz, the girl I bumped a while ago. Is she my? Will she be?
"Yes, how may I help you?", Mrs. Reyes asked the girl who I guess will be my classmate for this subject. Ugh, crap. I forgot to apologize for what I did a while to her. She's not even familiar. Is she a transferee? Uhm obviously.
"--- I'm from Cebu City." Wait? What was her name? Ughh! I'm really not listening. After introducing her self, she went over the chair right beside mine and sat. I looked at her and saw her looking back at me. I smiled but she just stuck her tongue out and faced back to Mrs. Reyes. That was suprising but I just ignored it. I'm too guilty to know why she did that.
I went to the cafeteria to meet Bernard. The room is crowded. Well, yeah, it's definitely first day. Everyone are here to show off their awesome summer break stories. I searched for Bernard through the crowd and spotted him making out with some 9th grade girl at a table in the center of the cafeteria. Well, he does have his own story to tell.
"Bro, you really have a full room for PDA right now." I blurted out, that made them cut their current connection. Bernard kissed the girl on the cheeks, making her blushed. Then he whispered something to her before she finally walked away.
"Perks of being a chic-magnet, bro. So what's up?"
"Nothing. Just planning to use my full time practicing. You know. The team needs to win. And also --- I need to impress ADMU's coach. It's my ticket to a future athletic career. I can't lose."
"Yea, I'm sure you will win. But -- you also need to have fun, bro. Relax and enjoy our last year here in GIA. You might regret that someday. You know, being too committed to sports." I just shrugged at the last thing he said. I know I won't ever regret loving volleyball. My future depends on it.
"I need to go. I still have a class at 9. See you later, bro."
"Okay, but don't forget going to Tina's tonight. Jezz! Live a little, bro."
I ignored him and walked through the crowd. I was almost at the exit when I saw a familiar face. The girl on my first class. She's standing near the counter with a tray of snack on her hands. And no way she's looking straight at me like a dagger wanting to pierce me any minute now.
I really thought you were a jerk, arrogant selfless dude. Why? Because I heard a lot about you. Volleyball team captain, company owner's son, top ranked model, and campus heartthrob. Seriously? You're not even handsome to be crowned campus blah-blah. Okay, I'll take that back. But you see, I just wanted you to know what I thought back then before I made up my mind. And before I decided to fall in love with you..
