MAGGIE CARTER AND JAEDEN martell have been close friends since they were in diapers, pretty much. They grew up with each other, living right down the street from one another after their mothers became best friends. The two supported everything the other wanted or decided to do.
OF COURSE, OVER THE course of their years, Maggie's feelings for her best friend Jaeden grew to be something more than just platonic. This wasn't some cliche situation, no, because Jaeden didn't have romantic feelings for Maggie. In fact, Jaeden still had feelings for Lilia Buckingham from when they previously dated.
IT SEEMED LIKE THE IMPOSSIBLE for Maggie because no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't seem to get over her best friend, who at the time also was found to be slowly drifting apart from Maggie. The teen is desperate to get over her crush, and hopefully get her old best friend back by the end of it. And you know what some people say: everybody wants somebody who doesn't want them.
