robbery gone wrong

Jun groaned in pain as his wounds healed from his suit. Having walked for about 4 miles, he stumbled upon a small town. A light limp in his step from the crash. He looked around. Trying to get his bearings as to the new setting. He saw a few signs. "The city of vale." is what they said. Which at least gave Jun a benchmark. He took a few glances at the populace of the city. Taking in the architecture, and the pedestrians. One thing he noticed, there were certain people that... had very distinct features. Specifically, animal appendages. As if they had been fused with various fauna. He saw a man with ram horns and a woman with whiskers. Then again, he just left a burning planet filled with worm colony monstrosities and sangheli warriors. Odd sights like this didn't phase him much. 

Eventually, Jun had walked past a store, reading the sign. 

"From dust till dawn... what an odd name. Then again, what better way to figure this place out"

He walked into the store. Browsing a few of the items. books, tools, and a lot of vials containing some sort of powder. he read the label.  

"dust?" He was very confused. Usually, Jun is a very pragmatic and analytical soldier. But, with how hectic everything has been. He's lost... in many ways. 

"just had to go and be a hero..." He mumbled to himself, but his train of thought is interrupted when someone bursts through the door. A group of men, in hats and sunglasses, armed with handguns enter the store. As one man, with orange hair approaches the front desk, walking with a cane. where the old clerk resides. One of the henchman points his gun at the shopkeeper. "P-please! Just take my Lien and leave!"

"Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money." He turned to his lackeys. "Grab the Dust."

Jun pulled out his M6G magnum pistol and waited for a moment. Watching for the right moment. He peeked around the shelf, and saw a girl in a red hoodie, earbuds in, and music blasting. One of the henchmen approached the girl, looking to be in her teens. He pulled out a sword from his scabbard placed on his hip and pointed it at her back. A few words are spoken, but Jun can't make them out. The spartan diverts his attention for a moment to glance to the orange haired man. Likely the ringleader. 

"Just stay quiet and everything will be fine-" he is interrupted by a loud yell. "HYAH!" As the mugger is sent flying through the store, and bursted through the window. Alongside the girl he robbed. The Leader turned sharply, seeing the commotion. "GET HER!" she gets up and deploys some sort of weapon that unfolds into some sort of red and black scythe that smashes into the ground. The henchmen head out of the shop and run at the red hooded girl, who spins around on top of her scythe and kicks the first approaching criminal in the face. Jun waits to exit.

She defeats the thugs, except the ring leader. Who lift's his cane, the bottom of it seemed to hinge, as it folds outwards into crosshairs and a bright ball of light shoots from hit. hitting the ground, and creating smoke. He attempts to flee. Climbing a ladder to the top of a building. 

Jun however, decided he'd intervene now. Having climbed to the top of Dust Till Dawn, and going prone on the rooftop, Aiming down the scope of his Sniper Rifle, As he did some sort of aircraft had began to rise behind the building. The thug jumping in and shooting something at the red hooded girl. Jun however, shot it in midair. the explosion creating some smoke, and in the smoke, a purple light shined, as a blonde haired woman, with what looked like a purple cape. He could only look on as multiple rays of purple light shot from around her. 

"We've got a huntress!" the orange haired thug called out. Jun looked on through his scope, only being able to tell what the thug said through lip reading. He fired a shot again, that clipped the man's cane, knocking it out of his hand and on the floor of the aircraft. Causing the thug to stumble out of the spartan's scope, Being replaced by a seemingly feminine figure, but it was hard to make out her face in the shadow of the VTOL.
