Annabelle is gullible but not gullible enough to believe in the supernatural world Rain keeps...
Rain spend the morning looking at the bright sun as it came up. His legs on a fallen tree and his body on the cold grass.
" You've been looking at the sun all morning," Annabelle complained.
" You've been burning food all morning !" Which is true she's been trying to make a nice tasty steak out of the cow he killed while she was sleeping.
" Hi , it's not my fault nobody taught me how to cook ."
" It's easy just leave on top of the fire ."
"I did !" She said while glaring at him with pure hatred. She's trying to be scary but her eyes make her look like a ..... demon. If looks could kill I'd be nonexistent.
"You also burned it." He said trying to tease her because well , he has nothing better to do than that.
"Heck you at least I tried ,You know what you cook !" She said as she flipped her hair.
"No, I don't feel like it." Rain said. Ok! Ok! He did want to cook but then he remembered yesterday, so now his feeling kind of apprehensive. Totally not other synonyms for afaird.
"If we die of starvation it's your ignorance fault !"
" I'm not hungry though." Rain said and his stomach started growling. And that ladies and gentlemen is the sound of someone's stomach saying " You a liar."
" You're hungry ?" That's a Dumb question.
"No I'm not hungry my stomach is the hungry one ."
"Which means your hungry," Annabelle said because she knows that's just logic . You're stomach growls = you hungry, simple math .
"But I don't want to be hungry !" He said with a frown. Annabelle still didn't know that human food couldn't fill his stomach.
"You sound like a kid ." She pointed out.
" You said that yesterday." "That's because you act like a kid, it's like you're stranger from another planet !" Rain went quiet, very quiet, maybe too quiet.
" What is your world like again ?" " How old are you?" He said changing the subject.
" 18 . Now to answer my question!" "Do you have a lover, boyfriend, etc." " Wow, you sound like a totally nerd saying, etc out loud ." He watched as she lay down with her leg on the dead tree and her body on the cold grass.
" No, relationships are too much trouble, plus I might my heartbroken. "
"Love is a gamble !" "My teacher told me not to gamble !" She pointed out.
"Here look at it this way love is a gamble what are you betting in ?" She looked at him with one eyebrow raised up. Is he going to lecture me ? She asked herself.
" I would bet my heart ."
" And what would you lose if you lost the gamble ?" " I would lose my heart !" "Uh-huh!"
" Wait I don't get !" she said as she got and looked at him . "Me neither. I was thinking that maybe I would naturally come up with the answer."
"Hi !"
"Yeah !"
" For some reason, I was feeling a little off today. But when you came along, you definitely turned me on!"She said with a giggle.
"What ?" " Yeah, I don't get it either !" She said lying. As she stood up she said " I'm going swinging."
" I'll come !" He said as he also got up." Let's go!"
He started running and Annabelle started running trying her best to catch up with him. But no one is faster than me so I reach the shore before her.
" You are so energetic !" She yelled as they reached the shore. Rain's feet started to hurt from the heat that came from the sand.
" Really I haven't noticed? " He answered.
He looked at the ocean I've always loved how it looked and now I get to touch it. It hurts when I touch it but maybe if I put my whole body in there it won't hurt. He put both of his legs in the water and instantly screams from the pain, the worst pain.Pain that even he can't describe, and then it all went dark.
