Audra's Pov
Have you ever noticed how the rain looks when it falls? It falls always sloping on it's side, singing it's sad lullaby of pain, sorrow, and heartbreak. Wind, it's eternal partner, blows at rain making the sky sing more lullabies. The sky's agony brings the earth joy, feeding the land. No matter what, the rain eventually falls, even if the clouds scream thunder, even if the land drowns in tears, it will fall. It's kind of like the truth; The truth will always find a way out of it's concealment. Always.
Rain falls now onto my head turning my straightened locks back into it's natural coily texture. Momma used to say the rain was apart of me. She said it was in my sad, droopy eyes, my irises shining a vibrant blue-grey. At least until she died, but I don't want to think about that now. Sometimes I can feel the energy of the rain if I close my eyes tight, real tight, and I sit on my porch in the rain.

Seth's Pov
Fire. It radiates a powerful energy that can destroy or warm any soul. I've learned to use it's energy to destroy. My whole life, I've been taught to incinerate, why can't I warm and be warmed and not used for some dumb prophecy? I don't want to be a villain. I don't want to be made for evil. Every day I train to meet a warrior, a mystical warrior that can end this all if I just kill him and destroy Earth. Maybe then I can stop fitting this role. Maybe then my father will stop insulting me; maybe then mother will be proud. Maybe then I can be the hero.
