So...normally it would've been any normal week, but our school decided to do a play..and..let's just say...it was very interesting...
Sofia: "Our high school will be doing a play."
Destiny: "Why? We aren't even part of the drama club."
Ana: "Isn't the drama club big enough for a play on its own? I don't really see the point in this."
Gabriel: "Well I think it's a great idea!"
Gilson: "You think everything is a great idea."
Gabriel: "Well this time it's different!"
Ana: "You said that about the last six times."
Sofia: "They're asking for volunteers to play the parts."
Destiny: "Oh, good. We don't have to volunteer if we don't want to."
Sofia: "Um...about that.."
I pull out my phone and show it to everyone.
Everyone: "EH?!?!"
Gabriel: "Awesome!"
Destiny: "How is being drafted for a play awesome?!"
Ana: "Gabriel! Shut up!"
Gilson: "Well, we don't know what play it is so it's fine! As long as it's not some romantic play, we'll be fine!"
A hour later...
Sofia: "It's a romance play."
Gilson: "We have the worst luck!"
Ana: "Please let me not be part of the play."
Destiny: "I wouldn't mind it. Doesn't hurt to try something new right?"
Sofia: "That's something you won't hear everyday."
Gabriel: "Well I think..."
Everyone: "We all know what you're thinking so just stay quiet."
Gabriel: T^T
Sofia: "We're instructed to go to the auditorium for instructions on what part we'll be playing and what we will be doing if we're not part of the play. We leave now."
We walked to the auditorium...slowly...and took our precious time getting there. We got yelled at by one of the teachers once we were seen. There were more students who were drafted than we thought...or so I thought. We took our seats in the bleachers and waited for instruction.
Teacher: "If you were drafted for the play, please come on stage."
I lead my team to the stage and looked outward....we were the only ones who came up.
Teacher: "I assume you're Sofia and her team?"
Sofia: "Yes, this is my team."
Destiny: "Excuse me? But why were we drafted for this play?"
Ana: "Yeah. We don't even want part of it."
Gabriel: "Not all of us are happy about it. But we are willing to help in any way we can."
Teacher: "Glad to hear it. Fortunately for you, all of you won't be participating within the production itself. Only the one with the blue light sword will."
Gilson: "Um...about that. Two of us have blue laser swords."
Sofia: "Yeah. Gabriel and I have one."
Teacher: "Please, show them to me."
We pull out our laser swords and they both ignite. The teacher looks at them and just sighs.
