I was on Angle Island cuddling with Knuckles since he "had to protect the Master Emerald" but I was fine with it after all it's very peaceful on the island perfect place to cuddle up into Knux's strong arms where I feel so... Protected I can let my guard down and actually relax
Let myself be protected for once not having to be the one protecting everyone; Sonic: hero of Mobius; or even Sonic: The Lost Prince of Mobotropolis I can just be me Sonic the hedgehog Knux's little fiance
Knux's seemed to noticed I was drifting off into my thoughts cause he gave me a playful nuge with his muzzle "What are you thinkin' about Blue" I just nuge him back with my muzzle giving his cheek a quick kiss
"Just thinking how snuggled up here in your arms I can be myself just your cute little fiance rather than being The Hero: Sonic!! Cockiest hedgehog around or the prince of Mobotropolis after all being a prince really doesn't suit me" I say with a chuckle as Knuckles joins in
"Your right your more of a princess but having my little hedgey safe in my arms in kissing range is perfect we could be like this almost all the time if we told the others we're together" after his little speach in which Knux called me a princess gaining a giggle of agreement from me he give me a quick peck on the lips to prove his little kissing range part before I layed my head on his chest
"I'm not ready to tell the others" I clenched my hands into Knuckles fur not enough to hurt him but to have a firm hold "I'm scared they won't except us, or the real me... Also I don't want Amy to turn me into a blueberry pancake" I shiver as the though of my last sentence to which Knux's tightens his protective hold on me helping me calm down from my insecurity and fear to which I cuddle up closer to him trying to bury myself into his strong chest as he strokes my quills causing me to purr and relax further into my lover "I love you Red" I say quitely as I start to drift off to take a nap on top of him hearing "I love you too Blue" as I drift off
