An unfamiliar feeling

   The bell just rang it's warming for those still in the hallway, Madison walks into her eighth period and takes a seat. Since it is her first day back at her home school she doesn't know half of the teenagers in her class, while sitting there reading her text messages minding her business when she feels a tap on her shoulder looking up to see who it was that decided to talk to her. Standing beside her was a brown-eyed brown-haired beauty, not knowing what to say she smiled then said " hey". He seemed happy that she said hi to him so he sat down saying " hey my name is Christopher, what's yours?" Madison is trying to keep herself from blushing but fails says " My name is Madison but everyone calls me Maddi, nice to meet you."

After getting to know each other more Maddi and Christopher started hanging out more every day after school and on the weekends. Maddi started getting these unfamiliar feelings when she would come around Christopher she was scared to tell him because she didn't want to lose her best friend but she couldn't fight them anymore. Later that night she texted him " Hey we need to talk... It's important to call me when you can talk." Maddi sat the phone down breathing heavy thinking to herself "what the hell did I just do.." Feeling her heart start beating faster as her cellphone rang, " hey... Christopher, I need to tell you something, and I don't know how you are going to take it." He paused for a second not knowing what it was that she was going to tell him, taking a breath he says " I am here Maddi you can tell me anything!"

"Christopher, I have feelings for you!!" holding her breath Maddi waits for his reply hoping it wasn't going to hurt her. On the other side of the phone, Christopher's eyes got huge feelings a sense of relief knowing that he isn't the only one that had developed feelings. "Maddi... I have felt this way for a while now, I just didn't know how to tell you but I like you too." Her heart started to slow down as she calmed down, " What do we do now?" " Can I come over? I would love to talk more about this in person and not over the phone." Maddi couldn't help but smile like a fool when she told him " yes of course"

They talked for hours about what they liked about each other and why they were so scared to tell each other they had caught feelings. The day quickly grew into nightfall and they laid on the bed watching Netflix and laughing about everything.....
