A pair of eyes gazed at the dark sky littered with few stars and the moon nowhere in sight, one eye dark blood red in color and the other covered by a black eye patch. The stranger always wondered how the sky could still be illuminated even without the moon in sight. But it was better this way, darkness was always more welcoming than light, light meant weakness and peace. The light wind blew over the wide balcony, winds of war, war had begun and blood had started to flow and will flow until darkness covered the lands. Darkness strived in war and blood.

"My lord Lucio, the prisoner is ready."

Lucio turned to face the vampire who had taken a knee behind him with his head bowed. With a last glance back at the dark sky, he made his way from the balcony and walked away, heading to the castle dungeon. One of his scouts had earlier informed him of a suitable castle far into the south of Canada few days ago. He had come with a little army and the family who owned the castle weren't too quick to indulge him and his men but they had later come to an understanding. The bloodless bodies of the family hung from the trees closest to the castle. He had his men place the bodies in such a way as to signify the family tree. The father at the top of the tree with his wife beside him, and the rest arranged accordingly down to the bottom where the last child, a five year old boy hung. The blood of the eldest daughter had been particularly tasty to him, too bad the rest of her family weren't. He did enjoy the ear piercing screams, it always made feeding all the more fun.

Walking through the dungeons, with steel cages on either side of him, he made his way to the largest cage were five huge vampires stood outside guarding one of his most precious assets. He had acquired this asset long ago and spent the years after, training this asset to follow his commands and only his. Now after years of training which had cost him hundreds of vampires, his asset was ready. With a wave of his hand, the vampires opened the cage to let him in and two followed, one standing on each side. A figure was on its knees at the middle of the large cage with its hands suspended in the air by extra large steel chains, and legs bounded by more chains, its head hung low with its long black hair covering its face. A tattoo of the capital letter C on its chest. Sensing the presence of someone in its cage, it looked up and its pitch black eyes with tiny bright blue specks staring into that of Lucio's. After what felt like hours of intense stare between the two, it hung its head low and bent forward almost as if it were bowing and spoke.

"Command me, Master."
