Crash

Sirens

Screaming

Monsters

I awoke with a start. The screaming and blaring alarms still fresh in my mind.

"Mrs. (Y/n)? Are you okay?"

I looked over to see the human who insisted on 'helping' me. Before shaking my head, deciding to be honest with the being.

"Would you mind telling me about what you saw?"

She was writing something on her clip board. I looked towards the ground, doing my best to recall everything.

"I was younger. Restless, looking for adventure. I was one of the few in my race to hire myself out as a mercenary. I had joined a military group of a strong ally of mine, but the ship was faulty. Try as they might, the crew couldn't fix it. The ship fell from the stars, sirens blaring and screams being heard as we collided with your planet. One of the crewmates had found me after the wreck. He had awoken me and soon after I was taken to your hospital."

The lady I was talking to noting down everything I said, taking breif moments to look up at me. She sighed,

"Yes well, I could only imagine what that was like. Does this memory reoccur everyday? Frequent nightmares, problems with daily activities, anything like that?"

I shook my head, it had been a long while since we fell here. Aside from this hypnotic session, I hadn't thought of the crash hardly at all. Even with visiting the only other crew mates who survived. Sadly this planet wasn't advanced enough for us to leave... Or build a new ship.

"I see..."

~time skip~

Finally, I exited the building. It was dark out, but I didn't mind. Humans could be more dangerous at night, but I was more than capable to handle the species. They certainly weren't nearly as annoying to deal with as Turian's or Krogan's. Oh how I missed the days as a mercanary, always fun to be apart of all different types...

"Leave me alone!"

"Yeah? Or else what?"

I turned my need to see a monster. He was on the ground with a group of humans beating him. Stupid racist creatures, always so discriminatory. Without thinking I rushed down the ally and pushed the men away from the skeleton.

"Aw, did your girlfreind cone to save you, scum?"

"Dude, look at her! What a freak!"

The men laughed before trying to attack me. I blocked and hit them all, dropping them to the ground in a non-lethal way. Wouldn't do us any good to have them dead.

"Who are you?"

I looked over to see the skeleton leaning on a wall, blood running down his skull.

"I'm (y/n). Do you mind if I take you home?"

He scoffed, looking at me with fake anger.

"I can walk myself. I'm not weak"

"I never said you were"
