<Kirito's PoV>

Asuna was in the bathroom having a shower while I unpacked my swords and left them beside my table. I decided to wear my pyjamas despite me not sleeping tonight. Yui was sleeping with Sortiliena for safety reasons which I didn't mind but I wouldn't mind her being here also. She puts my mind at ease whenever I feel anger.

"Kazuto, I feel power on the hill in the far south. There is an abandoned building there. Check it out" The devil says and he flashes those images in my head. I see the building and remember seeing it on the way here. It did have a sketchy vibe to it.

"Got it" I say and just then Asuna walks out in her towel and looks at me shirtless. Shit she is going to ask about my scars. I see her run to me and and look at me with shock. She then touches a few of them. "Kirito kun... What is this? Your body is ruined" She says and stares at them again.

I quickly put on my pyjamas and stand up. "Get dressed before someone gets the wrong idea" I say and she realises that she was still in her towel and blushed. Well now that I've diverted the attention from my scars I can avoid questions.

<Time Skip - 1 hour>

Once I was certain Asuna was fast asleep, I slowly grabbed my sword and head to our window. It wasn't a huge drop for me anyway. We were at least 7 floors high. I then jump out and land perfectly on my feet and head in the direction of the hill. It was across our hotel by about 5 minutes by car. So by running around 10 minutes or 15.

"Kazuto hide your mana... they'll detect us like that" The devil says and I nod. I felt the hint of mana in my body disappear and I continue to run towards the hill. I decided to jump on top of a few houses and take a direct route rather than follow the road.

I arrived at the foot of the hill in no time now. And the eerie sense began to grow and I could smell blood which was never a good sign in abandoned buildings. It was about a few days old which made things worse.

I ran up the hill and saw there was no door to this hill house. I drew my sword and entered very slowly to avoid a trap. The room was empty apart from cobwebs and spiders. There was smudge of blood as I entered further and it led downstairs.

I slowly walk down and down and the smell of blood got stronger but I also heard screams of a girl. I sped up a little and reach the bottom. It was a dungeon full of cells. In each one there was skeletons and old bones. But as I went deeper the screams got louder and louder and I see a horror sight. It was a girl tied up to a chair and being injected with some substance but all he clothes were gone.

I was about to charge but someone was quick and held me with a sword at my neck. "Guys we have an intruder" the guy who held me said and the two people who were touching the girl stopped and looked at me. I then look at the girl... she looked familiar. I've seen her around with school... with a boy named Eiji.

"Kirito help me! PLEASE!" She screams. The guy next to her slaps her and tells her to shut up. "Who are you guys! And what are you doing to her" I growl and my anger began to rise. "We are using her to test out our new drug called imperium." One of them says. I've heard that before... it's a drug to make an individual submit themselves to the supplier. In other words become a dog for them. But I watched this girl and she hadn't turned yet so it failed.

"We at the Shiba's will rule the elite ten! And the council!" The guys say in unison. Shiba family... the ones that murdered my parents. The son that used Asuna... "you've made me angry... I guess revenge is getting close" I began to laugh. The anger had control over me again and I felt my transformation happen but I don't care. I'll wipe out some of my targets members. As a warning of course.

"No mercy today... devil is angry" I say and swivel out of the sword and punch the guy in the gut then kick him in the side. I grab my sword and spin and stab the oncoming attack from one of the scientists. And then quickly turn around and stab the guard in abs. Then proceed to kick him back into a wall.

Then just one left... I turn to him and he was cowering. "You monster..." He says to me and all I did was laugh in his face. "No... its devil" I say and begin to strangle him against the wall with my left hand. "The shiba clan will get you!" He says with his last breath.

"Not if you are dead!" And I plunge my sword straight into his heart. It felt satisfactory to release my anger but there's still plenty more Shiba members left. I will find them I begin to laugh. And walk away from the bodies and towards the girl. My transformation then wears out and I feel a huge weight lifted off me and I drop to the ground.

"Kirito are you okay?" She says.

"Sorry you had to see that..." I say and look down. I had just realised I had killed a man. The other two were unconscious but they were not being saved. "It's okay... you were a little scary but you did save me..." She says as I untie her from the chair. She then covers her body and runs to her clothes that were against the wall and starts to wear them.

"Sorry what's your name?" I ask.

"Yuna" She says.

"Report this to Quinella straight away. But do not mention me at all. I'm begging you" I say. "Fine... since you saved me." She says. "I'm sorry I killed a man in front of you... you probably think I'm a monster too." I say.

"It's fine... my father was murdered in front of me too" She says.

"Oh... I'm sorry" I say.

"But you were fighting like it was revenge for something. Did they do something to you too?" She asks and I look away.

"They stole my life..." I say and walk away not wanting to press on with this subject.
