My parents and I spent the morning and afternoon together. My parents felt that it was better to let me and Grace hit off my rehab together too.

I held a firm grip on Grace's hand as we walked through the neighborhood.

Grace allowed me to hold her hand as a start off of our date today; For my first day of rehab with Grace, I planned a date.

"Well, what should we do?" She asked me.

"How abooooooooout... the beach!" I suggested.

"Ask and you shall recieve." Grace smiled.

Grace and I took off our shoes and socks and walked hand in hand through the beach.

It was like a movie scene almost: so romantic. As the waves crashed and the wind whistled, it was all soothing.

"I like this." Grace looked towards the ocean.

"Me too, its very soothing-- and the sky is a nice orange color-"

"I meant being with you like this." Grace giggled a bit.

"Oh," I blushed. "I like this too." I held our interwined hands up.

"We should go back to our spot before random people steal our stuff." She said.

Once we got back to where we chose to sit, we laid out a big towel to sit on and I pulled out a nice warm blanket.

The sun was setting, the wind calmed, and the scenery was truely beautiful. Grace completed this whole thing.

"Didn't your mom say to not be here when the sun fully sets?" Grace asked.

"Yeah, we'll leave in a few." I said. I looked down at Grace who was under my arm, wrapped in the blanket with me.

The wind blew her hair in her face, and I moved the strands of hair from her face.

The smallest things I did seemed like a whole minute or two.

Grace's eyes were glossy as she stared up at me. Our faces were so close.

I've waited so long kiss her. In this place, like this, with her in my arms at this moment, why the fuck would I give up this chance?!

I quickly, yet slowly, pressed my lips against her's. She responded back by moving her lips with mine.

Grace had disconnected her lips from mine. She had a goofy smile plastered on her face that had contageously made me have a goofy smile.

"You know I really like you, Grace?" I stroked her cheek with my finger.

"And did you know I really like you too?" She blushed. I felt my heart race like crazy.

"I really can't pin point why you want to be around someone like me," I looked down and clasped my hand with Grace's. "I lied to you..."

"If I were in the same situation, I probably would have lied too. Its not easy experiencing all that. I don't know what its like to smoke or do drugs, and I don't want to find out, but i'm not biased and I surely don't judge. Especially over your situation, I can't imagine how hard it is for you. But your parents and I want to help you get better." Every word that she spoke was pure honesty. She was going to be by my side to support and encourage me.
