Jikook - Save me

Jimin sees Jungkook about to commit suicide

Warning this is super sad and may be triggering so read with caution
I wanna try and make this a one part chapter so it's probably gonna be really long.

It was a cold evening, the sunset was a golden hue that reflected in jungkooks soft brown eyes. They were such dull eyes, numb, dead, as he stood there at the edge of the bridge. It'll all be over soon Jungkook thought as he tossed his leg over the railing. "Stop!" He hears a voice say and grab Jungkook from behind harshly, pulling the taller into his embrace. "What are you doing??" The small man asks, gripping onto jungkooks arm as he searches jungkooks eyes for an answer. Jungkook lazily tries to push the man away but Jimin keeps a strong grip. "I'm not ok with this, I-I don't know what makes you want to do this but..." Jimin struggles to find the words as Jungkook looks down in shame, not having the energy to do anything currently. "It's cold...look at me please." Jimin places a warm hand at the side of jungkooks face making the younger face him, "please don't do this." Jimin says, the sight making jungkooks heart melt as tears begin to brim in his eyes. Jimin places his warm hands on jungkooks cold cheeks and eventually embraces him in a hug, catching Jungkook off guard but he lets it happen anyway. Jimin then takes Jungkook to a bench so that the two can sit down, "why are you crying?" Jungkook ask as he notices the mail begins to cry next to him, Jungkook takes in Jimin's features. A small face and cute bunny nose, his almond shape eyes looking beautiful in the sunset, and plush like doll lips that go perfectly with his face. "I made you cry, sorry it's all my fault.." Jungkook says but Jimin is quick to hug him again. "It's not your fault" , he whimpers out followed by: "you must live, so precious like many other people" Jimin sobs out, Jungkook looks at Jimin fondly before asking, "have you ever thought of taking your own life?" Jimin is silent for a moment before nodding and saying, "that's why I can't let you go. Living a life is better than not having one, Simone who saved my life once told me that it was not my fault and that you must live...if you really want to do it..todays sunshine is too bright to do it, today's meal was too good to do it. They told me to live a day with a single, tiny reason." Jungkook sighs and looks down at the small hand that was holding his as Jimin continued, "I don't know how much you've suffered, but if you think every moment you've lived has made you feel tired— you may feel that I'm so arrogant, I can't say anything completely right..." Jimin pauses, worried that any word he may say can hurt the taller male. "I just...I wish, I hope you don't have to be wounded for the rest of your life..." Jimin finishes, he then goes down on one knee to tie jungkooks laces which have been untied. "I won't do it today then..." Jungkook says, "not tomorrow either!" Jimin says sternly enough that it doesn't hurt the other. "...thank you, your a great person..." Jungkook says as Jimin looks up and takes jungkooks hands with his. "Ah, your hands are cold." Jimin smiles softly, the sight making jungkooks heart melt but break at the same time. Jimin takes jungkooks hands up to his mouth and uses his breath to try and warm their hands up in the cold weather. "You may cry all you want, it's not a bad thing." Jimin says standing up and holding his arms out for Jungkook so he can hug him, which he does. "Come...I want to take you somewhere."

A few months have passed since then, Jungkook was sitting at a table at one of his favorite cafes, Jimin's café to be exact. After they met, Jimin had taken jungkook here and gave him some coffee and the two talked together for hours. They were now pretty close friends, Jimin was wary on letting Jungkook leave that night worried he might try something again so he walked Jungkook home. Jimin was always there for Jungkook, the two had exchanged numbers, Jimin was so amazing, he could always tell when Jungkook was upset. One of his biggest worries however was the fact that Jimin didn't share much about his life, Jungkook wanted to be there for him too, Jimin had become someone so precious in his life. "Whew I'm beat." Jimin says sitting opposite of Jungkook, resting his chin on his hands. "Jungkookie, my shift is gonna be over soon. So if you want we can hang out at your place for a bit." Jimin says taking jungkooks drink and sipping on it a little. "Ya! I paid for that." Jungkook says cutely while Jimin says, "I made it!" The two laugh together for a moment before Jungkook pays and waits for Jimin to wrap up and meet Jungkook outside of the cafe. "Ugh it's cold." Jimin says rubbing himself with his arms over his jacket, Jungkook takes Jimin's hand in his smiling softly at the olders reaction but let's it happen anyway. The two walk hand in hand to jungkooks place which wasn't that far, which made it easier for the two.
