He grabbed my hand and smiled the sweetest smile I had ever seen, it was like he was thanking me for everything I had ever done in my life without words. Ahhh he was such a dream. About a year ago, I thought I would never even have a chance with this guy, and now he's practically my world. He was our high schools biggest football star, and me, I was just an ordinary girl, two years younger than him to be exact. People would constantly make jokes about us, saying "it's just young love, it'll never last." But we, we got each other. We just seemed to click somehow. In a way that no one understood. I loved him, I truly did. I squeezed his hand tighter and leaned in his shoulder as we walked off the field. Everyone would try to stop and congratulate him on how he played, the usual. But he never let go of me at all. He always made me feel so safe. Finally, when I could tell he was getting kinda tired, he kindly told everybody we had to go. We walked out the front gate, and headed towards the parking lot to his truck. My parents were out of town, but the plan was just for him to drop me back off at my house. But to my surprise, we pulled into his driveway. "Josh, what are we doing?" I asked. "What do you mean?" He replied. "Wha, why are we here?" I laughed a little. "You were supposed to drop me off at my house." "Not when my parents aren't home either," he smirked. "But, Josh, I can't stay here all night! That's not right." Soon enough, his comforting voice, and soothing kiss convinced me to stay. "Baby, we'll be fine." He said, moving the hair out of my face. He always knew the right things to say, and could always tell when I was feeling anxious. It seemed like his kiss always calmed me down, it made me step back and breathe a little. He was such a laid back person, as to where I was a little high strung, and got stressed out easily. He was good for me. "I know I can trust him, he would never make any moves until I was ready, we agreed on that." I thought to myself. "I guess one night wouldn't hurt." I said. He smiled and we walked into the house. We went into the bedroom, and he headed into the bathroom to take off all his football stuff, while I took a big t shirt of his to put on. I leaped onto the bed. I could see him in the reflection of the mirror after he took his jersey off. He was just so handsome. Standing there running his fingers through his messy hair, no shirt. He was hot. He walked out seconds later in some old navy athletic shorts and crawled in bed right beside me. He pulled the covers up and wrapped his muscular arms around me. He softly kissed me on the head, and we drifted off to sleep.💜
