Marks POV
I groaned as I heard my alarm clock beeping loud and clear in my ears, I still wasn't used to the sound. Another day another fight...
I got up to go and get dressed, I usually tended to wear the same thing: plain black T-shirt, blue ripped jeans and I red jacket. Which matched my partial red hair. I picked up my phone to see no recent messages, I then picked up my car keys and put them in my pocket.
I went downstairs, made some coffee and went outside to start the school day.
Jacks POV
Beep! Beep! Beep!
I practically smacked my alarm clock off my counter, the sound annoyed me so much. Just the sound usually stayed in my ears until first period.
I sat up and admired my room, gaming posters covered the walls. As well as a septic Sam plushie on top of my wardrobe.
"I can't believe when we moved I almost forgot you!" I exclaim in my Irish tone with a hint of guilt mixed in.I got dressed for the day: a white T-shirt with septic Sam on, and black pants. For fall it was surprisingly warm outside In LA.
I grabbed my phone and keys, shoved them in my pockets and went outside to start the day. I didn't feel like having coffee.
Marks POV
I drove calmly to school, awaiting what fresh hell lay ahead. And I had to Sean, but he wants to go by jack. Of course I wasn't going to call him that, we are enemies. His hair was green, (unlike mine which was red) almost neon, and blinding. Giving him the title 'human highlighter' thought up by the one and only me.
I pulled into the school parking lot, got out and made sure to lock the car. There were a few shady students in the school so you could never be too sure. After one last check of my car I walked towards school. A calm look on my face even though I was slightly panicking. Even my heart was pounding, I didn't think to much of it.
Jacks POV
I pulled into the parking lot, the drive wasn't too eventful I just thought of ways to annoy mark, but I realised I had started blushing. I blamed it on the car heat and put the air conditioning on.
I'd just locked my car when I caught sight of mark, as usual he was swarmed by girls. I glared daggers at him and he glared back, some of the girls around him noticed and gave me dirty looks.
Marks POV
As soon as I came within sight of the school I was swarmed by girls, it was cool and cute at first but now it was downright annoying.
I caught sight os Sean glaring at me, I glared back as he walked past. Some of the girls glared back and some started saying things about him, I told them to calm down. I didn't know why because I was usually ok with them calling him things and I would even join in.
I then caught myself thinking how cute his highlighter-like hair was, I shook those thoughts off and shoved the girls off me. I head3d into school to my first class, forgetting what it was already.
I was kinda the popular kid in school which just annoyed me, I would rather just not be noticed at all. Sean wasn't really noticed except when he got involved with me. I decided to wait around for first period to start, plus me and Sean have most of the same classes. He's usually late most of the time.
I pulled out my phone and decided to text my friend felix.Me: hey felix
Pewd's: hey mark wyd
Me:waiting for class
to start, you?
Pewd:just got into an
argument with highlighter
Me: k talk to you later
man
Pewd's: you tooJacks POV
Once felix had stopped arguing with me, I ran off to the bathrooms. I sat in one of the stalls resting my head on my knees and my legs against my chest. I began to run my hand through my hair, why was school so stressful? I though to myself. I just wanted to calm myself down before heading to class, it's why I was always late. I didn't seem to be calming down anytime soon. I just prayed no one would find me in a state like this.Hope you enjoyed?
