Fiona knew she was different. She liked different things than anyone else and never hung out with friends. She didn't have any. She looked different than both of her parents. Her father and mother both had glowing blond gold hair. Hers was black. They both had honey eyes that seemed to glow. Hers was mud brown. But the biggest difference of all was were their tails. That's right, I said tails. Fiona Fins lived in an underwater world full of Mer people. They swam around, went to school, decorated their tails, all that. But back to my previous point, the main thing that separated her
from the whole mermaid community was this. Fiona fins had no tail.
