It's a Sunday. Anamika is sitting in alone on a corner seat of Barista. She sits with her laptop and focus on the paper that could make. Sanjeev Nanda first saw her through the window. Suddenly the door opens. She looks up from her cappuccino and laptop at the noise and the burst of cold air coming through. She freezes and stops her work, almost spilling her drink all over her in the process.

Anamika and Sanjeev Nanda have been best friends since they were in fifth standard. It's roughly been 8 years of their friendship and they realized that we always come back to each other even though they were dating others. Probably because Sanjeev Nanda know that no one understands him better than her, perhaps she feels the same.

Sanjeev Nanda hasn't changed a bit. His dark-rimmed glasses make him seem just a bit more smart than he really is. He has taken on the style of New York fashion and looks just as she's seen him in her dreams.

They start to discuss their life. He asks her what her plans are for future. She, in turn, asks him how he ended up working at the job he has now. He starts to talk about his life and how happy he is to be in the place he is now. He seems enchanting to her for a split second... but then she notices something different about him.

He notices her dark brown eyes light up as Anamika talks about how passionate she is for her work. Her smile gives him a tingle of warmth— one that until that moment, he had never felt before with her. All the while, she notices his body language too. He looks her in the eye, trying to figure out her next move before she throws him for a loop and does the opposite. The hand that used to be in his pocket is now right next to hers, almost touching, fingers begging to be linked together. They both feel the warmth radiating from the other person. Or maybe it's the heat in the shop. They don't care enough to pay attention to what's happening around them. They only care about each other in the heat of the moment. A hope that there is a small chance for a romance to begin.

She looks at her phone and told him to leave in order to make her class. She invites him for a dinner. He agrees, giving her his cell number. She gives him one hug, packs up and walks out. He continues to sit there and realizes that half of his heart has just walked away with her.

He gets up, pays for his drink and starts walking towards the subway and suddenly there is a ding sounds on his phone. He glances at the message. "Hey." It's her.

Now, their love story begin...
