today's the day, we're going from kansas all the way to new jersey. darn you, dads job! omg i am so stupid wtf.
okay so a little bit of background, I grew up in Arizona, then when I was 10 we moved to Oklahoma because that's where my parents grew up and my grandparents are like, reallyyyyyyyyy old and we're about to die or something, I think they were sick, then when they got better my dads job asked him to move to Kansas, so we did when I was like thirteen, now, i'm 14, we're moving again, to New Jersey this time, I turn 15 in like two months and we're moving already?! like bro, i'm in HIGHSCHOOL, you can't just pick up and move me whenever you want.
anywayyyyyyyyyyyyy back to the present. I still have to pack like two boxes then my parents are gonna take naps so they won't fall asleep on the road, yes I said ROAD, because my parents are kinda cheap and would rather drive 1,396.1 miles than fly. After they sleep we're gonna leave. and drive. 21 hours. and 2 minutes. but it's probably gonna be longer because yk we have to stop for gas and food and we're stopping at a couple hotels so nobody dies from sleep deprivation. Okay so while you all were reading my thoughts- creeps- I packed my last two boxes and put them in the moving truck, oh yeah i should probablyyyyyyy tell y'all who all is coming, so with me is my dad, john, my mom, christine, my older sister, meredith, and my younger brother, christopher. and then obviously there is me, mallory. (or you can just say whatever your name is and then whatever people call you for "lory" cause that's gonna be her nickname) anywayyyyyyyy now my parents are finally waking up so we're gonna go.
we've been on the road for like 4 hours, btw i'm riding with my mom and my little brother and older sister is with my dad, and i've basically just slept and gone on my phone. We finally stop at a gas station and my mom gets gas then say she needs to go the bathroom and just tells me to get her some food. so i grab her a coke and a sub then i grab myself a dr pepper and a bag of chips. i pay then go out and wait for her in the car. when we start driving she hands me the aux cord
m- what what's this for, you never let me pick the music
mo- just choose the music before i change my mind okay.
sooooo i just turn on my playlist, (btw if y'all have apple music you should listen to my playlist) then we just talk for a couple hours, finally we get to the first hotel and we just stay there for a night. in the morning we get back on the road but this time i'm with my dad and brother while my sister is with my mom. for breakfast we just get some donuts and coffee/juice from a gas station. i sleep the majority of the time. eventually we get to another hotel just cause my parents are really tired, meredith drives to subway and gets us some food then comes back we ended up just staying at the hotel for the night even tho it was like 2 pm. anywayyyyy we get on the road and we only have like 4 hours till we're at the new place. this time i'm with my mom and my sister. we get there and it's only like 12 pm so we just unpack
then my dad goes and gets food from chipotle, we have that stuff for a late lunch/dinner. by the time i have the majority of my room done it's like 930 so i decide to just go to bed and i'll do everything else in the morning so i just watch netflix on my brothers ipad till i fall asleep.
that was literally the most irritating thing i've ever written, butttttttt, how was it? lmao okay well ima just do a few more and then ima try to go to bed so gn
