Happy New Year

Wooseok pov:
On a perfect New Year's Eve morning, I would be awakened by the smell of the delicious breakfast being cooked by Hongseok, and maybe even hear faint singing. Of course, that's not possible if you have 8 other roommates. Chaos happens everyday, and the last day before the New Year begins is no exception.

There was the crashing of pans from the kitchen, a few voices belting out various frozen songs from the back of the dorm, and there was a strange burning smell attacking my nostrils.

I groaned, before getting up to go to the bathroom. As I pass by the calendar on the wall, I see the date is circled in red pen, along with the words, 'party with the boys'. I groaned again, and continued to the bathroom.

As I'm getting in the shower, my bedroom door suddenly bangs against the wall and I hear Yanan hurriedly saying "Wooseok are you in here? Please help me. Changgu keeps chasing me with his dirty socks. Please let me hide in here. He's searching the yard and it'll only be so long before he comes insi-eEK I HEAR HIM"

"Ugh yes just hide in the closet with the trenchcoats, you should be fine, now hurry before he attacks me for helping you" I say in a defeated tone. I have just shut the closet when Changgu runs into my room, demanding that I tell him if I've seen Yanan (and strangely enough, there was no sock in his hand).

I just shake my head and say "I was about to take a shower," then he realises I have nothing covering ny lower half and his face turns pink, "but" I continued, "I heard weird noises from Kinos room. Maybe check there?" I said, trying to get him to leave so I can finally shower

He nodded quickly, mumbled "thanks" and then ran out of the room, not forgetting to shut the door behind him.

I opened the closet, not expecting yanan to be so close to my face.
"Uh well hello there" I said, a bit taken aback as to why he was so close to the door. He sheepishly replies, "I was trying to eavesdrop, also in case he had opened the door, I was going to kiss him and then shut the door" he said in a tone that made me wonder what made that plan come to mind.

"Why was he even chasing you?  And why were you going to kiss him?  Aren't there better ways to confront your problems? Do you make out with everyone that chases you?" I say with a raised eyebrow

His face was an even brighter shade of pink than Changgus as he said "Let's talk about the second part later. The reason he was chasing me was because when we were putting up decorations for tonight, he insisted we hang mistletoe, and I said that was too christmassy and then I stupidly remarked 'I'd rather hang up your nasty ass socks' and then he took his sock off and chased me around."

I stared at him in disbelief.
"First of all, who the hell said it was a good idea to have you two decorate. And second, why do you not want mistletoe? Obviously you love kissing people for no reason. Why not have mistletoe and actually have a reason?"

He quickly responds, "you know, I'm just gonna go to Changgu and tell him that mistletoe sounds great" he says as he walks out of my room, "oh and,  you might want to go shower now. You can only be naked for so long since the boys will be here at 3:15" he said with a smirk before closing the door

I groaned once again, and finally walked to the shower. This time, no one stopped me and I finally was able to shower.

Yanan pov:
As soon as I left Wooseoks' room, I ran to Changgus' room. Who, wasn't really chasing me, at least not like I had told wooseok. He was 'chasing' me because I didn't want to admit that the mistletoe could be a great thing for wooseok. He might have a reason to actually leave the house, despite his constant exclamations about how he's fine being the only one in our house with no love life.
