Dear Namjoon and Micha,
Harabeoji is deeply grateful to both of you. I already consider you as my own grandchildren. Thank you for taking such good care of me in Jimin’s absence. Your presence always brings a joyful smile to my face. I sincerely hope that both of you will get married and live a happy, fulfilling life together.
For Jungkook,
I’m truly glad that Jimin has you in his life. You bring so much joy to my grandson. Though he can be a bit stubborn, he has a heart of gold. Patience is the key to a lasting relationship. Take good care of him and make him happy. I believe that together, you will find true love.
Lastly, for my dearest grandson Jiminie,
I knew you would cry and feel sad, but please trust me when I say that Harabeoji is in the happiest place now. I am reunited with my son and daughter-in-law, and that brings me immense joy. Please don’t be sad. Cherish the moments with the wonderful people around you who love you dearly. They are your strength and support, just as you have been mine.
Remember, I love you so much, Jiminie. Your smile has always been my greatest comfort. Be happy, for me, and live your life to the fullest. Embrace every opportunity, follow your dreams, and spread kindness wherever you go. Know that I am always with you in spirit, cheering you on and wishing you all the happiness in the world. 'I LOVE YOU'

imin cried as he read the last letter his grandfather had written. The words on the paper blurred through his tears, but the message was clear. Now, Jimin could see. He had received the right donors, one who had devoted his entire life to his beloved grandson. The most valuable gift Jimin ever received came from his grandfather. He remembered his grandfather’s words: everything happens for a reason.
Jimin gently kissed the last picture of Harabeoji, captured by Namjoon. The photograph showed his grandfather’s warm, comforting smile, a smile that had always brought Jimin peace. He felt a bittersweet happiness seeing that smile again, knowing that his grandfather was now in a better place, reunited with loved ones.
As he held the picture close, Jimin whispered a promise to live his life fully and joyfully, just as Harabeoji had wished. He vowed to cherish the people around him and to spread the same love and kindness his grandfather had shown him. With a heart full of gratitude and love, Jimin knew that his grandfather’s spirit would always be with him, guiding him through life’s journey“Thanks, Harabeoji. I’m happy. I love you,” Jimin whispered, his voice trembling with emotion.
“Hey…” Jungkook’s gentle voice broke the silence as he hugged Jimin from behind, planting a soft kiss on his neck. “What are you doing?”
Jimin showed Jungkook the letter and the picture of his grandfather. “It’s been a year, but I still read his last letter. It’s the only way I can cope with missing him, even though I cry every time.”
Jungkook turned Jimin around to face him and enveloped him in a tight embrace. He rubbed Jimin’s back soothingly and kissed his forehead several times, offering comfort and warmth. “It’s okay to miss him, Jimin. He’ll always be a part of you, and it’s okay to feel this way.”
“Let’s go back to Busan,” Jungkook suggested, his voice filled with warmth.
Jimin looked up at Jungkook immediately, surprise evident in his eyes. He knew there was nothing left for him in Busan. Namjoon had already told him about the house and land that Harabeoji had sold. Jimin felt a pang of disappointment, knowing that Harabeoji had to sell his only property because of him.
"Busan?” Jimin echoed, his voice tinged with uncertainty.
“Yes, let’s have a vacation there,” Jungkook said with a reassuring smile.
Jimin nodded his head slowly. Despite everything, he wanted to go back to Busan. He missed his hometown, the familiar streets, the sound of the ocean, and the memories of his childhood. “I miss Busan,” he admitted softly.
Jungkook squeezed Jimin’s hand gently. “Then let’s go. We’ll make new memories there, together.”
Jimin felt a sense of hope and excitement bubbling up inside him. The thought of returning to Busan, even just for a vacation, filled him with a bittersweet longing. He knew it wouldn’t be the same without Harabeoji, but he also knew that Jungkook would be by his side, making new memories and cherishing the old ones.
“Okay,” Jimin said, a small smile forming on his lips. “Let’s go back to Busan.”
Jungkook’s eyes sparkled with joy. “We’ll have a great time, I promise.”
As they planned their trip, Jimin felt a renewed sense of connection to his roots and a deep appreciation for the love and support Jungkook always provided. He knew that with Jungkook by his side, he could face anything, even the bittersweet journey back to Busan.
