Valley goes back to her house after the meeting with Daphne and Cade. They tried to make me get into Calum's head. I know I was open to that idea at one point. But I gave it a second thought and realised I don't want to do it. I've already got Darren to mess with his mind and that's bad enough. She thinks to herself.
Valley goes to her room. She takes a seat on her bed. Most people find their bed a safe place but I don't find anywhere a safe place anymore not after what Darren did to me. It's not like he actually did something to me on my bed but he did reach me with his games or whatever when I was trying to get some sleep. she thinks to herself.
She has a shift at the night club today. I'm honestly fed up of my job there. It's just pouring drinks and being friendly to customers. I only decided to do this job because Darren requested I do it. I think I might quit to find something more interesting to do. She thinks to herself. She gets ready and heads to the night club.
The shift is the same as it usually is and nothing interesting happens. After her shift Valley decides to tell her manager she wants to quit.
"Hi madam" She greets her manager she doesn't happen to know her by name as he barely sees her around. "Hello, Valley isn't it?" She greets her back and asks her to confirm her name. "Yes it is" she replies to her. "Why is it you have come to see me? Any problems with the work?" She questions her. "No nothing like that madam, it's just that I think I'd like to quit my job over here" she answers her. "But you're one of the best bartenders here; you attract loads of customers" she replies to her. "Thank you madam, but I don't think this is the career path I'd like to do for the rest of my life" she replies back to her. "That's fine Valley, thanks for letting me know, you can leave after you finish the rest of your shifts this week, good luck with your future career" she responds to her. "Thank you madam" she replies exiting the room and then she leaves the nightclub to go home.
That was me trying to get almost all the evidence that Darren had control of my life away from me. I'm trying my best to let go of what happened in the past, but the memories keep haunting me. Darren chucking me in that toy box while my consciousness was trapped in my mind. Everytime he taunted me by calling me his 'rag doll'. To him I was a toy not a human. But now I'm not even human. He would use his pocket knife to cut his name all over me. How he would have these tea parties and picnics with me and put drugs or whatever in the food and drinks while my consciousness was stuck in my mind. Thank goodness he stopped that when Calum came into this mess. I still feel guilty for dragging him into all this. I wish I could find a way to make it up to him. Valley thinks to herself.
Valley then gets a phone call from Daphne. She sighs. She doesn't want to work with Daphne and her schemes anymore whether they be for evil or good intentions. She answers the call anyways. "Hi Daphne" she greets her through the phone. "Hello Valley, can you come over so we can make a plan?" She greets and asks her. "Actually about that I've changed my mind about being on your team" she replies to her. "Really?" She asks in disbelief. "Yeah, I know I want to get revenge on Darren but I don't think you're the right person to do it with" she replies. "Okay fine then I'll just have to beg Cade to come back on my team" she replies back to her. "Good luck with that" she responds to her. "Thanks I guess, bye" she responds back hanging up on the call.
I'm finally free I guess. I get to do what I want not what people want me to do. Valley thinks to herself. She leaves her house and goes for a walk.
I guess I should celebrate. I can go wild. Maybe I should have fun. Maybe I should embrace the darkness within me. She thinks to herself as she walks towards a nearby park.
She finally reaches the park. She sees a young couple sitting on a bench. She decides to approach them. "Hi, you both make a lovely couple" she greets and compliaments them. "Thank you" the girl replies. "You're welcome" she replies. She takes a seat near the girl's girlfriend. "So, why are you both over here at this time?" She asks the couple. "Oh we couldn't get sleep as we are seeing our favourite band perform tomorrow and we are too excited to sleep!" the girlfriend replies enthusiastically. "That's amazing, I hope you two have fun!" She replies to her. "Thank you" they both say at the same time. "You're welcome" she replies to them.
I was really thinking about drinking the blood of one of them, but they just seem too excited for that concert tomorrow for me to kill or hurt them. It's not fair for me to have my fun if I just ruin their fun. I'll have to find a victim who's dreading tomorrow. She thinks to herself.
"Anyways, I'm gonna continue my strolling though this place, bye" she tells them. The both of them say bye to her one after the other this time. She gets up off the bench and continues walking.
She walks up to her next potential victim; this person happens to be sitting alone on one of the benches. "Hi" she greets him. "Hi" he greets back sadly. "What's wrong?" She asks him. "Just a few hours ago I found out that my parents died in an accident" he replies to her on the verge of tears. "I'm sorry, that's awful for someone to go through" she replies. "It is, they are the only people who cared for me, I have no one left" he replies back sobbing. She then hugs him.
Yay! I've someone who I can feed on. He seems like he's suffering and I'm gonna help him by ending it for him. She thinks to herself.
As she's hugging him she slowly moves her head closer to his neck. She then uses her mind control so that he doesn't make much noise. She slowly sinks her fangs into his neck; drinking his blood. She almost drains him of his blood. Then she takes a knife out of her pocket, she wipes it on her shirt so it doesn't have her finger prints on it, she doesn't take it away from her shirt as she almost cuts his head off; she does that to hide her fang marks. Blood drips down his neck. She puts his corpse down in a seated manner and carefully places the knife in his hand and moves his arm near his neck; making it look like he committed suicide. She's lucky everyone around her was distracted as she went though with the whole murder thing.
She walks away from his corpse. She continues going to different parks finding her victims and murdering them similar as to how she killed that guy. Once she's had enough she heads back home.
Why do I feel guilty? Those people weren't happy with their lives, I did them a favour didn't I? I helped them put an end to their misery. I'm supposed to be feeling proud of myself. Somehow a part of me feels like I've done something terrible. I haven't felt like this for a long time. She thinks to herself.
She lies down in her bed. I think I should talk to someone else about what I did. I need someone else's opinion. She thinks to herself. She picks up her phone and calls Ashton.
After a few rings Ashton picks up his phone. "Hey Valley, what's the matter?" He greets and asks her that. "Hi Ashton, I'm sorry for calling so late, I just really needed to talk to someone and you were the only person I could think of" she greets and replies to him. "What do you want to talk about?" He asks her. "I'm just confused, I don't know how I'm supposed to feel, I did something I thought was good but now something inside of me is making me feel awful about doing it" she replies to him. "What did you do?" He asks her. "I drank blood from a bunch of people and made it look like they committed suicide" she tells him. "Wow! That's umm... I would say terrible... I'm sorry" he replies to her. "It's not like I chose people who were happy with their lives" she replies to him. "I suppose you should have kept them alive, people should be able to try and figure out life for themselves without you making decisions for them" he replies back to her. "You're right, I just thought I was doing them a favour" she responds sadly to him. "Maybe next time you should take sometime to think a bit more about what you're about to do before you act on it" he responds back to her. "I'll try next time, thanks for taking the time to talk to me, bye" she replies. "I'll always be there if you need to talk, bye" he replies back. She then hangs up on the call.
Ashton is right. I hardly put any thought into what I did before doing it. I was just feeling so free at that moment that I didn't care whether I was doing the right or wrong thing. But through my freedom I took away all those other people's freedom. I shouldn't have done any of what I did tonight. I feel so ashamed of myself for what I did. I wonder if Darren ever feels ashamed of himself for what he does to Calum and what he did to me. Maybe all he needs to stop is someone to knock some sense into him. Valley thinks to herself.
