Chapter 2: Birds of a Feather

Sarah's POV
As I stepped on the bus, all I heard was endless chatter. "So, what are you going to do this summer?" One person asked another. I hurried to find Sarah on the bus. "Hey," she said "Do you mind sitting with someone else today? I have to talk to Cindy about something sups important about our slumber party!" She always sounded so peppy, even when giving bad news. "Sure, I'll try." I said, weakly. Ugh, the only thing bad about her is that one day you're her favorite, the next, she stares at you like scat on a sidewalk. As I tried to find a place to sit, one guy offered me his seat next to him. It was Joel, Britney's ex boyfriend. "Thanks." I said, as I plopped myelf down on the seat. "So, what are you planning to do this summer?" He asked me. "Well, I'm actually going skiing with my family, going to the beach, and going to Europe." I said, proudly. "Well, I'm impressed." he said, charmingly. He was actually kind of hot. I don't even know why Britney dumped him to be honest. His gorgeous eyes, his dirty blonde hair and his sweet personality couldn't be passed up. Soon, the bus came to a complete stop. We were at our school. "Well, I'll see you later I guess?" He asked me. "Yeah. See ya!" Then, we went our seperate ways. I really wish he were in the same classes as me. Then, I waited for Britney to come off the bus. She was still whispering and talking to Cindy.  I have a feeling that this sleepover is going to be a flop.

Britney's POV

Before the bus had gotten to the school...

"Ha, she actually believed that we were going to talk about the slumber party. She is so naïve." I joked as I talked to Cindy. "Anyway, you know the drill, when she gets to the house, you know what to do." I whispered to Cindy as he carefully listened. "I have the firecrackers ready." She smiled, evilly. "That bitch is gonna pay." "OMG LOOK, SHE'S FLIRTING WITH JOEL!!" Cindy whispered loudly. "THAT NO GOOD FREAK! NOW, SHE'S FLIRTING WITH JOEL. SHE'S GOING TO GET WHAT SHE PAID FOR.."
