June and carter being gay™️

It was a warm night in mid-June, the school year had ended and Junko had decided to invite Carter over since she actually rarely hung out with him unless they were with the rest of the group or with Okami and Aurora.

To be fair though none of them really hung out with each other unless it was with most of the group (except if they were on a date with their significant other).

Junko was sitting on her floor looking at a few bottles of nail polish, she was in her pajamas (a too big black t-shirt and plaid pajama shorts) and had her hair in a pony tail with a cat headband to keep her hair out of her face.

Carter was sitting in front of her, he was wearing a white t-shirt and green pajama pants. He was also wearing a cat headband to keep his hair out of his face.

"You know I really admire you and auroras relationship..I mean you've been together since middle school and next year you're both going to college and you're still together? Like..its surprising in a way because people say high school relationships never last, and I'm sure middle school relationships never even last to highschool but..I don't know, I mean I don't know a lot about you're relationship since I met you guys a few months ago but..i can see you guys lasting" Carter said and smiled as Junko picked up a bottle of holographic nail polish.

Junko just smiled at him "thanks..I think the reason we've made it so long is a mix of healthy communication and just being best friends, I mean our relationship isn't perfect, obviously we've had our problems but we communicate and get through it because we both want to last.." she said as she looked around then picked up a bottle of nail polish.

"Okami told me you guys were like the most iconic couple in your highschool" he said with a smile.

Junko hummed and laughed a little taking his hand so she could put a base coat nail polish on him. "Yup, it's kinda true, to a lot of people we're the most iconic couple cause we've been together all four years of highschool" she said.

Carter just nodded and watched her as she carefully put the nail polish on his fingernails making sure to not get any on his skin, "Makes sense..if you don't mind me asking..did both of you think you'd still be together by the end of highschool?" He asked.

"I don't mind you asking..obviously that's what we both wanted, we wanted to make it past highschool and college and still be in a relationship..but we both knew it wasn't the most realistic, so no we didn't but we wanted to so we made it happen" she said finishing and grabbing his other hand to do the same thing.

"So you guys are having your..sixth year anniversary this summer?" Carter asked and sat up a little careful to not ruin what she was doing.

"Yup! It's gonna be awesome!" She said and put his hand down once she finished "okay that should only take a few minutes to dry" she said.

Carter just smiled at her and looked over at his phone noticing he got a text message "can you check that?" He asked.

Junko nodded and grabbed his phone, she snickered "your contact name for Okami is 'dorkami'?" She laughed a little as she put in his passcode and opened his messages with Okami.

"Yeah I made it that cause his contact name for me was just my name and he finds 'dorkami' to be an annoying nickname..what'd he say anyway?" He asked.

"He just said 'how the fuck did you not take physics, chemistry or biology in highschool you lucky jerk'" she laughed and showed him the text.

"In highschool I took no sciences in freshman year, I took environmental science in sophomore year, astronomy junior year, then took ornithology, oceanography and forensics senior year" Carter explained with a smile as Junko typed the text on his phone and sent it to Okami.
