That Awkward Group (TAG) is based on a story about me, and 3 of my friends I met over the internet, the book is written in prospective of 'Charlie' which is one of my friends, This book is about Teenage life, and being a 'socially awkward' kid and trying to fit into school. At the start of the Book, Charlie, Lela Kaden and Kasey aren't friends at all, But there all in the same class, the teacher is doing a Class project, which is to do with friendship, and getting along, she puts the students into groups of 4, and it just so happens that the 4 Socially awkwardest students in the school are put in the same group, over time you see their relationships blossom into a strong trust worthy Bond.

It was the End of Summer break; I was getting ready for School. My green eyes gazed over the mirror, staring at my messy light brown hair, I wasn't sure of what to do with it for school, so...

First, I straighten it.

Second, I spiked it up at the Back.

Third, I sprayed it a few times with hairspray.

"Wahh prefect!" I shouted as my sister walked into the bathroom.

"You're a dweeb you know that right?" she said to me with a slightly giggle, I just pushed her a bit before exiting. "Oi Charlie!" she shouted out from the bathroom, "you left your hair straightener on."

I sighed for a second. "Turn it off yourself," I said quietly, before walking into my room. I shut the door behind me.

I stared at my uniform, which was neatly placed on my bed. I didn't like the school uniforms, they were too girlish for my taste, I'm more of a Tom boy, and so I find it uncomfortable wearing one of these miniskirts. And the teachers don't allow girls to wear long pants or whatever, it kind of sucks. I slowly got dressed, trying not to mess my hair up. Then went down to the kitchen to have something to eat, the tiles were cold under my feet. I opened the fridge, pulling out the milk carton and drinking from it, placing it back in the fridge when I finished, then turned round grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl in the centre of the dining table.

My sister came down stairs, her hair all wet. She was wearing a white shirt with a pair of mini shorts on. My sister Alexis was A lot older than I was; she had Light blonde Hair and Blue eyes, with Olive skin. We don't get along that much, but she is nice to me most the times, I just don't like talking to her, to be honest, I don't like talking to many people, I suppose you could call me a little 'socially awkward'

I took a bite of my Apple, and went over into the lounge, turning the telly on. Switching through the Channels, Most was just News, and a few cartoons were on. "Boring" I said quietly as I continued Switching through the Channels.

"Charlie you don't have time to watch the TV, you got to catch a bus in a few minutes." My sister said as she stood in the doorway. i didnt have much of a relationship with my farther, he was mostly at work, so i didnt see him often.

"There's nothing on anyway" I said quietly before switching it off, I got up off the couch, taking another bite of my apple, it was quite Juicy. I headed back up to my room, grabbing $20 from my money jar, and put it in my bag, I flung the bag over my shoulder and headed back down stairs, grabbing my Shoes, and slipping them on, I grabbed the spare Key and headed outside, and began walking to the bus stop.
