Long Time No See

Chapter 7

(On Saturday)

Sonic and Shadow's new friendship got even stronger as the days went by. Finally the night of the party came. Sonic and Shadow we're getting ready for the big night.

Sonic was waiting on his bed wearing mint green dress shirt and navy blue pants. "Hey Shadow? You almost done in there?" He asked.

"Almost!" Shadow answered.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. "Hey babe let me in!" A voice called.

'Great, the scumbags here.' Sonic mentally sighed. And got up to open the door. Scourge was behind it wearing his signature jacket, a white tank top, and ripped black jeans.

"Evening Blue, Where's my Stripes?" Scourge asked.

"He's still getting ready. He'll be out in a minute." Sonic answered.

"Hope he's worth the wait, I picked out his clothes for tonight." Scourge chuckled.

Sonic rolled his eyes. 'That can't be good.' He thought.

"Actually Blue, let's have a chat out here for a sec." Scourge requested.

Sonic walked outside the room and closed the door. "What do you want?"

"Blue, you know that Stripes is mine. So stop acting like he's yours. I want you to back off. Are we clear?" Scourge threatened.

"First of all Green, Shadow is not yours because he's not property. He's a hedgehog with his own mind and rights. Also a hedgehog who is my friend who deserves so much better than you. And Second, don't think that I don't know what your planning on doing to him." Sonic ranted.

Scourge just laughed. "You don't know what you're talking about Blue. And if you try to come between us...*chuckles evilly* you're going to be begging for mercy."

Sonic got in Scourge's face with a look of pure anger. "I'm not scared of you Scourge. Never have been. Never will be."

The door opened to reveal Shadow. "What's going on out here?" He asked wearing a red long sleeved crop top and white ripped jean shorts that cut off at the thigh.

Sonic blushed madly.

"Wow, better than I imagined." Scourge commented.

"I don't know about this. It seems a little too revealing." Shadow expressed.

Scourge went up to him and wrapped an arm around his waist. "You look perfect babe. Very sexy~"

Shadow blushed in embarrassment and looked at Sonic, who was staring the entire time. "What do you think Sonic? Is it too much?" He asked.

Sonic was pulled out of his trance and cleared his throat. "Ugh, no! Y-You looked great." Sonic stammered.

Shadow smiled at his response. "Then let's go." Shadow said holding Scourge's hand.

Scourge and Shadow lead hand in hand, while Sonic was giving Scourge death glares behind them.

After walking across campus, the three hedgehogs made it to the large frat house and got into the party. The house was filled with wall to wall drunk college students blowing off steam. Violet and green lights flashed and loud music filled the air. The kitchen of the house was filled with bottles of hard liquor, beer, wine, and soda.

Sonic looked around and saw Silver. And Silver saw him. They waved to each other and Silver walked over wearing a light blue shirt and black pants.

"Hey Sonic, how's the college life for ya?"

"Fine, glad the first weeks done. By the way, this is my roommate Shadow. And you already know Scourge." Sonic said.
