3 - The Plan.

I woke up to the sound of a door slamming shut. And I mean SLAMMING Shut. I jumped up and ran down the stairs to see mum who collapsed on the floor. I ran over to her and hugged her. She was crying.

" What's wrong mum? " I asked her.

" I'm sorry for waking you up Liam. My boss has been hitting on me and I don't like it! " she sobbed. My mum may seem like a slut but she really isn't. She normally picks out guys she thinks I would like to be my Step Dad. When someone hits on her continuously, she gets really upset.

" It's okay mum. I'm sure he'll stop soon. " I looked at the clock and saw it was almost time for me to wake up anyways.

" Okay... I guess I'll go to bed... Love you baby. " she stood up with my help and kissed my head before walking up the stairs. I realized I was only in my boxers and went back to my room to get changed.

After I got changed I looked at my phone and saw I already had two texts. That's weird.

Hey Lili! Wanna walk to school today? I know it's early but still! What ya say? -Nialler.xx

I smiled at his text. Oh Niall. I quickly typed him one back and read the other. It was from an unknown number. What?

Meet me behind the Starbucks on the corner after school. -L.x

L? Who is L? Why do I have to meet them behind Starbucks? Should I go alone or bring Niall with me?

Who is this and do you want me to come alone? -Liam.

I typed back. I set my phone on my bed and got the rest of the way ready. I heard my phone ringing as I finished brushing my teeth. I ran to my phone and answered after seeing it was Niall.

" Hello? " I answered.

" LeeYum!!! " I heard him yell into the phone. Oh gush this boy...

" Hi Niall. " I said with a smile.

" Can we walk around before school? Maybe skip home room and first? " he asked. I thought about it for a minute or so.

" Sure. Come by my house okay? I gotta do something really fast. " I told him.

" Alrighty then! See you in about five minutes! Bye Lili! Love you!!! " he still acts like plain old Niall.

" Love you too Niall. Bye. " I hung up my phone and walked into my mums room to see her on her computer.

" Oh hello Liam. You should probably be getting to school right? " she asked me.

" Not yet. I was just wanting to tell you that Niall's picking me up and we're going to walk around before school okay? " I told mum. I never really kept things from mum when she was awake.

" Alright sweetie. Be safe. Oh and Louis and Jack are coming over tonight so make sure you're presentable. " I just nodded and walked out of her room to the front door just as the bell rang. I opened the door to see Niall standing there looking at the ground.

" Hey Ni. " I said causing him to jump and look up in shock.

" You actually said my nickname! " he said truly shocked.

" Yeah I guess I did. " I said with a small smile. We started walking around and it was silent until he brought a topic I wasn't expecting up.

" Hey Liam... What do you do when you realize you are falling for someone who you're close to? " he asked me. I stopped walking and looked at him.

" Depends on who. " I told him. He blushed and looked down.

" I Uhm... I'm falling for uh... Y-you... " he mumbled. My eyes went wide. What!? Niall Horan is falling for me? No no no.
