Chapter 29 ( Long Chapter )

"What do you mean ?". Asked Katy looking at Ryan with confused eyes.

Ryan cleared his throat before speaking.

"I mean ...." , He looked up at the ceiling as if he's gathering the right words to say in this situation. But he sighed.

Katy still didn't have any idea what is going on. Ryan looked at her and hold her hands.

"Look ! I don't know how to say this but , Mr. Adam..." , Ryan paused and stared in Katy's eyes as of asking a question: Do you know who he is ?

"Yeah I know , who is handling our case". Said Katy.

"Yeah ! He said that Marve is working in the most famous business in Miami and so we can't arrest him like that without any proof. But there is one thing we can do". Said Ryan.

"And what is that ?".

"The only way to get out of this awful situation is .... divorce". Said Ryan.

Katy's eyes got widen. She took several seconds only to understand what Ryan just said.

"What ?".

"Yeah Katy ... I know it looks a little odd and rude but maybe this is the first time you're going to take step for your own self". Said Ryan. He gave Katy a relaxing smile.

Katy started looking down. Ryan smiled.

"There's one thing more that you should know". Said Ryan.

"What ?".

Ryan wanted to tell Katy his feelings. His feelings for her. The love that he has for her. The eyes that seek Katy's attention. The lips that just want to taste Katy. His hands who wants to hold her tight.

"Katy .. I know this might sound weird ..." , Ryan got interrupted by the loud thud of the door opening.

"Hey ya ! What are you guys doing ?". Asked Liam winking at Ryan.

"Liamm !!". Said Ryan as he started laughing. Lilith and Duke entered the room.

"Well well well !! Look at the love birds". Said Lilith.

Katy blushed hearing Lilith's sentence.

"Awww she's blushing ... she's so cute". Said Duke.

"If your romance is over, can we start the dinner ?". Asked Liam.

"Stop it Liam.. ughh". Ryan said frowning.

"Hahahaha come lets eat pizza". Said Duke.

They all went downstairs. Duke , Lilith and Liam were ahead while Ryan and Katy were at the back.

Suddenly Katy slipped and was about to fall when Ryan immediately held her hand , pulled her towards him and saved her on time.

Katy was holding onto Ryan's shoulders tightly. She looked at him with scared eyes. They stares into each other's eyes for a while. Katy was lost in his flirtatious yet most seductive ravishing eyes.

"Oh my God!! Are you okay Katy". Said Lilith.

"Yeah I'm fine". Said Katy as she pulled herself away from Ryan.

"Sorry ... I uhh.. Slipped". Said Katy to Ryan.

"No it's okay , I didn't mind". Said Ryan.

"Yeah why would he ?". Liam mumbled.

The Next Day

Katy called her mom and talked to her for hours.

"Hey I almost forgot to tell you". Said Sandra.
