Trevor didn't file for divorce and neither did Olivia. It was like they both seemed like they would get back together at one point, and were holding out hope. Olivia tried to focus on the girls and getting Adalee's anxiety back under control, while Trevor tried to forge a relationship with his only child. He didn't have a relationship with Ember after he tried to send her away, so he had to create a new one.

"Momma?" Adalee asked, a year after she, her sister, and her mother moved out of Trevor's house. They were still living with Serena, which made things easier for them all.

"Yes, princess?" Olivia asked. She looked up from where she had been ironing her uniform before work in the morning.

"I saw Ember today," Adalee spoke. Olivia's eyes went wide, as she went back to ironing.

"How did she look?" Olivia breathed.

"She cut her hair really short and she didn't even look at me when I said her name. I think she still hates me." Adalee frowned.

"She never hated you, Addie. She hated me and took it out on you." Olivia frowned.

"I wonder if Trevor is with someone... I know that you still love him." Adalee spoke. Olivia bit her lip before shaking her head.

"I don't have space in my life for a love life. I only have space for my family." Olivia spoke.

"Momma, go talk to him. Maybe everything is better now. I want you to be happy, Momma. Really happy." Adalee smiled before grabbing her mother's phone from the counter. Olivia went to object, but Adalee quickly shoved the phone into her hand.

"It's ringing!"

Olivia talked to Trevor, and they decided to meet up and talk. It was late, and they only met late so that the girls didn't find out. Trevor showed up at the bar first, and Olivia walked in about ten minutes later. She had been there on time, it was just that she was nervous to see her husband for the first time in a year.

"Hey, Liv." Trevor breathed gently.

"Hi, Trevor... uh, how are you?" Olivia questioned as she sat across from him. He slid a glass of wine to her, and Olivia gave him a small nod before downing it.

"I'm okay. Still working and raising Ember. What about you?" Trevor asked.

"Taking on a lot of hours still and working on being a mom to my girls." Olivia breathed.

"Cool," Trevor spoke. They sat in silence for a while after Olivia's glass was refilled, but then they had to talk. About anything.

"I miss you," Trevor spoke, as he looked quietly at his wife.

"I miss you too..." Olivia whispered.

"Do you want to try this again? Because I really think that I'm in a better position to commit to you." Trevor spoke quickly. Olivia bit her lip before swallowing hard.

"Trevor, it's been a year since we have talked. We never called to check-in. We didn't even meet up for tax time. Like, Trevor, we need to do stuff before we can make everything normal again."

"Ember is with her Aunt. I dropped her off there tonight. So I want you to come home with me. We can fight if we want. We can do whatever we want because no one will be there to stop us." Trevor spoke. Olivia frowned before shaking her head.

"I can't do that-" Olivia was interrupted because Trevor leaned forward and kissed her. Her lips were stinging as he pulled away and she swallowed hard.

"Okay." She mumbled.

"Okay?" Trevor asked.

"Take me home before I change my mind."

Olivia had problems with men. Or at least two men. Olivia fell into bed with Trevor as she had done with Elliot before. But this time she wasn't broken when they were done. She felt whole again. She laid with her head resting on her husband's chest and she rubbed circles into it.

"That was amazing." Trevor breathed into his wife's hair. It was weird for both of them to be married after a year of no communication, but it felt good to be with each other. To be intimate.

"Trevor, I don't want to hurt our daughters." Olivia breathed, as she closed her eyes to prevent any tears from running down her cheeks.

"Ember is in a better place. She isn't as depressed and angry. She actually asks about you and the girls. She told me that she saw Adalee the other day but didn't feel confident enough to go see her."

"We should probably just introduce things slowly," Olivia spoke gently.

"Dinner tomorrow night?" Trevor asked.

"I'm not going to be home till Friday. I'm staying in the garage because I'm working every day all day." Olivia breathed.

"Just don't overdo it," Trevor spoke, as Olivia turned her body so she could rest her head against Trevor's chest and look at him.

"I'm not going too. Uh, let's work on us before working on our family." Olivia whispered.

"I want to take you out then. Let's date. Really date." Trevor spoke.

"Really?" Olivia questioned. She was worried about what was going to really happen. If dating Trevor and getting to know him would truly let them figure out a marriage.

"Yeah. I want to be with you and get to know you better than I think I know you." Trevor spoke. Olivia brushed a tear from her cheek before clinging to her husband. She started to kiss his chest before realizing that she needed him again and she wanted him for the rest of her life.

They dated. They went on dates twice a week. They didn't spend any more steamy nights together because they wanted to take things slow. They didn't want to make a baby together just for their relationship to fall apart completely. But all three girls noticed differences.

Ember noticed her father's smile had reappeared. Adalee and Ainsley saw their mother laugh and come back to life. Both Trevor and Olivia had fallen back to the time after their significate others past, but now they were back to where they started their relationship. They were happy.

"Daddy?" Ember questioned, as her father walked to the front door in a suit and tie.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"Are you dating Olivia?" She questioned quietly. Trevor swallowed hard before turning and looking at his daughter.

"And if I was?" He questioned.

"I'd be happy."
