Tony Stark had just made a major announcement one that was going to change his lives and those around him forever. I didn't agree with Tony telling the world that he was Iron Man, but Tony had his reasons he always liked being the centre of attention. When we returned to Tony's, I wasn't surprised to see Fury standing in his house. He wanted to tell us about his Avengers Intiative, some idea of his to bring together the worlds greatest superheroes.
He explained who he was interested in bringing in, like myself and Tony and there was others out there he was keeping an eye on. I knew Tony would turn him down not wanting to be a seen as a hero, and I didn't want to be out in that world anymore I was finally ready to retire. He told me that he knows I will rethink this, and he warned us that he would still keep a close eye on us, and when the time came he would contact us again. I warned him not to interfere with my life or Tonys but I knew that was going to be short lived expecially after Tony told the world he was Iron Man. I stayed in Malibu with Tony and Pepper, wanting to keep a close eye on Tony and just wanting to have a normal life for once. I should have known being around Tony Stark my life was far from being normal.
