The trip to The Outer Wall is scheduled for this Friday. If you wish to be eligible sign up i the front office. That is all for today folks, thank you."
"Ugh... these dumb tests again, I'm not even gonna stay in The Capital, i plan to move out to Colorado, got family out there." The voice comes from a boy in the back, his name is Rico, we have been in the same classes for about 3 years now but I seem to have yet to talk to him. He is really obnoxious, I cant stand loud people.
DING DOOOONG
That is the class bell, i move to Mr Flaus's class for this test, my parents were one of the people to help create the questions but they refused to give me any answers. I walk into a room on the very far left of the hallway, its full of ancient maps, globes, and text books. Ever since the the The Great Melting, much of the world has been sent underwater along with its resources not to mention the day those things appeared.
I see my friend Clare, Luckily there is a seat right beside her. "What's up Margot, you nervous too, I cant fail like my brother did, he got send for wall duty, and my nails aren't cut out for that crap ya know." She jokes but her face looks so serious. "I'm fine, I just wanna head home, I have to work on our building's roof garden and power boxes with my dad."
"That must suck, taking this huge test then working too, I'm thankful my parents got a that settlement from the government after they destroyed our house for that dumb wall."
Mr Flaus interrupts,"Young lady that "dumb wall" is what keeps those things out, would you rather be eaten by one, show some respect for the government." He walked away
Under her breath Claire retorted,"Damn whats his problem." The boy behind us starts to talk,
"Apparently his son was some soldier in the Federation Elimination Force, he went on a mission to wipe out that hive up north above the Hudson Sea, He died up there and his body was never found." The boy cackles and leaves both Clare and I with a grim feeling. More people start to fill the room until Mr Flaus flips the testing sign and gives us the pretesting speech.
"Students you will be taking the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Occupational Exam. This exam is to test you on our country's history along with that of the world. After this point I can not help you anymore, and if you are caught cheating it is a federal offense and you will be punished accordingly." He gives a low sign and waves us off. I look down and begin to fill out my information
