??? POV"Don't hide behind a mask! No amount of beauty could match the kindness in your heart anyways." I spoke in a cheerful and comforting tone as my little hands lay against their shoulders, holding them in a comforting and reassuring manner. The person I held seemed to be a young girl; around age 8 or so. 'Why can't I seem to remember her face?.. Why am I... A child again?' my thoughts began to race as I held the girl, her face was scribbled out with what appeared to be a dark, space-blue liquid.
There was another young male beside me as well. I can't remember his face either. Why? No matter how hard I try, I can't remember them at all.
Everything seemed to transition quickly. Multiple child-like sketches of animals skipped around in front of me. I could feel the energy of a young me sprinting away from something or someone. I remember seeing those two children right alongside me. The girl I had been comforting had a trail of multiple child-like doodles of eyes, lips, noses, ears, and other things floating around behind her. The other boy had a lustrous trail that drifted along with the wind. Why does this makes me feel so sad? I can't help but wonder.
I'm pulled from my thoughts when I see a frail boy with green hair trip over his feet. A brunette haired girl reacted quickly, catching him with what seemed like an antigravity quirk. It looked like the two were friends. I stare at them for a second while subconsciously walking into the building. I took a seat and began zoning out once again, as they're telling us directions on what to do for the entrance exams.
I decide to try and focus on remembering those girls faces; my brain leaving me unanswered once again. No matter how hard I try, the faces never seem to come back to my memory.
I suddenly remember where I'm at when I hear a student yelling across the auditorium. I looked up to see a guy with indigo blue hair and glasses. I noticed his broad physique when he reached up to push his glasses up his nose which slid down from his shouting.
He was yelling at the guy I remember seeing at the front door. He was saying something about how the frail green haired boy's muttering was distracting others, but my thoughts were only things distracting me, not the muttering.
I decided to finally pay attention after that. I didn't want to fail the entrance exams and not make it into UA.
Things after that went slow. Though I didn't pay attention most of the time, the physical exams came sooner than I expected
Narrator POV
The many students of different areas and different quirks were led towards the battle arena with an urban setting. A girl known as Daneal, who wore a UA gym uniform and black converse walked along the crowd. Her wavy, cedar brown dyed hair was accompanied by a yellow daffodil at the front. Her hazel colored eyes flicked around from student to student. She could easily read the expressions of the other students. 'Worry, anxiousness, frustration, tranquility, anger...? How odd to be feeling something like that..' She thought.
Suddenly, a loud voice boomed throughout the area, it was Present Mic. "Alrighty!! Are you all ready? Because it's SHOWTIIIIIIIIME!!!" His voice boomed with energy and immediately, The large Iron gates forced their way down as hordes of Students screaming with excitement rushed into the Urban Arena. Daneal noticed many quirks being used as people scattered, Explosions, Teleportation, Hardening and such. She felt a bit of panic seeing so many intense quirks being used all at once, she quickly glanced around and noticed an Alleyway, she was certain there wouldn't be anybody there so she hurried in.
