Later that day, Kylo went into the bridge to find Hux sitting at one of the control panels. "General?" he asked.
"Yes supreme leader" Hux said standing as he greeted him.
Kylo grabbed his arm and pulled him into the hallway so that the officers wouldn't hear what he was about to say. "Are you alright? You haven't been yourself, do you need some time off? I know that you really haven't had time to grieve the loss of Phasma, and it's okay if you need some time alone."
"Me? I'm not acting weird, you are. When have you ever been this worried about anyone let alone me?" Hux said as he pulled his arms free from Kylo's grasp.
Kylo looked at him for a moment. "It's not like you to leave in the middle of a meeting Hux. What's bothering you?"
"I...nothing I just had things to do that's all" Hux response.
Kylo shrugged. "Well in that case, we have work to do. We need to prepare to go to Hoth and see how the training there is going."
"Right I've already prepared a ship for our departure" Hux informed him
Kylo nodded. "Good, I think everything is in control here. We'll leave for Hoth at once."
Minutes later they where in the ship and headed off to Hoth.
Kylo sat down in one of the seats, he eyes were heavy from the previous sleepless night, but he forced himself to stay awake.
"Why don't you get some sleep you need to be well rested when we reach Hoth" Hux suggested noticing he had begun to drift off several times.
Kylo looked at him, thinking that Hux was treating him like a child. But he was tired and didn't feel like arguing. "Fine," he said laying down across the seats. It wasn't long before he drifted off to sleep.
Hux walked out of the room leaving Kylo to sleep in peace and because the familiar presence of his father had appeared.
Luke didn't know what to say, so he just stood there looking at Hux, waiting for his son to speak.
"It wasn't your fault you were in grief Father" Hux resounded to his fathers earlier statement.
Luke nodded. "Thank you for understanding, son."
"But you weren't the only one" Hux continued.
"I'm sorry son, I realize now that it couldn't have been easy for you, growing up without a mother."
"Well no but I think I missed you more then her because you where actually there" Hux replied.
Luke couldn't stop the tears from entering his eyes. "I'm sorry son, can you ever forgive me?"
"Yes" Hux mumbled.
Luke went over and hugged him. "Thank you."
Hux smiled into the hug "no thank you for finally coming home"
Luke nodded and hugged him tighter.
Just then they heard a scream in the other room. Both of them ran to see what had happened.
Kylo was still asleep, having another nightmare about Palpatine. But this dream was worse than the last, this time Palpatine had forced him to watch as he killed Rey.
"Rey!" he screamed.
"Rey?" Kylo heard Hux's voice echo.
Kylo opened his eyes to see Hux looking at him. He sighed in relief as he realized that it was just a dream, then he quickly turned away hoping Hux wouldn't see the tears in his eyes.
