The boy next door

*Jennifer's Pov*
"JENNIFER LYNN GET DOWN HERE" my mom is yelling. "What's wrong mom?!?" I ask nervously. "Do you have any idea what time it is?!?" She says still mad. "Mom, calm down. I'll just get a ride from hayes" I say trying to calm her down. I walk out the door to see hayes with his girlfriend. Great. "Hayes?" I yell and he turns around. "Could I-I get a ride." I say nervously. "Yeah!" He yells. Hailey his girlfriend, glares at him. I run over there and jump in the back seat. Once we get to school I get out of the car, thank Hayes, then run over to my friends Julia and Lauren. "Hey guys!" I say smiling and they look at me weird. "You just were with hayes..." They say at the same time. "So?" I say with a giggle. "You have liked him sense fifth grade!!" They say jumping up and down. "You guys are stupid, didn't you see his girlfriend with us. I just needed a ride." I say. They look at me with a frown and say "I'm sorry" I say it's fine and we walk to geography.

*beep* the bell rings and I walk to English where I see Hayes sitting at my desk smiling at me. I get butterflies in my stomach just like every other time I see him. "Hey Jenny-from-the-block." he says laughing. "Hey" I say and laugh. He stands up and motions me to sit down. I blush and sit down. "Hey Jennifer?" He says blushing. "What?" I say smiling. "Umm. Could y-you maybe wanna h-hang out sometime?" He says as I'm smiling like and idiot. "sure" I say energetically. "This weekend?" Hayes says smiling. "Yeah!" I say very very loudly. Then the bell rings. And my mood has changed from amazingly happy. to, not so happy. When school ends I run out of my pride room to see an amazing sight.
