Third Person POV
A soft knocking interrupted Iruka’s lecture and a sigh left his lips. He didn’t need any influence from outside his classroom as all the antics of his students were more than enough.
“Come in.” He stated and the classroom went silent as the students turned to gaze at the door waiting to view the outsider.
“I apologize if I interrupted anything Iruka-sensei.” A feminine voice spoke as the door was opened. “But the Hokage wanted these papers signed as soon as possible.”
After receiving a nod of approval from the sensei she quickly made her way to the front of the room, a thin stack of papers clutched in her hand. All eyes in the classroom were glued onto her figure as she walked down the steps to reach Iruka’s desk. Soft murmurs and giggles escaped the students as they commented on the strange girl.
“It’s fine Asami.” Iruka smiled as she handed him the stack. “I haven’t seen you around very much lately. Been having a lot of missions?” He questioned not taking his eyes off the documents in front of him.
“Yeah this would be my first real day off.” She grinned stretching her arms above her head and twisting her back until a crack was heard and then she allowed her arms to fall back to her sides. “But I guess I can’t really call it an off day now though, the Hokage had a list of things for me to do when I got back.” She chuckled shaking her head.
“Is he going to practice with you today?” The teacher questioned as his pen scratched across the paper.
A soft sigh left her, “No, he said he would be busy watching over the new rookie teams.” She stopped and glanced at the children in the room before she continued, “He says he will tomorrow although I doubt he will have the time.. But I think I’ll do some training on my own tonight. That is if I ever finish all that’s on that list.” Asami smirked.
A soft chuckle left Iruka as he glanced over a paper, “I’m still surprised he would accept someone so young to do all this work.”
“Well what can I say Sensei I’m pretty good.” she smirked throwing the older male a wink when he looked up at her. Laughter escaped him while he shook his head before he continued writing on the last pages.
The girl glanced around the classroom, eyes softening as they landed on the students. A smirk fell onto her lips as she watched their faces, some had looks of confusion while others held confidence. The confidence was no doubt from the thought of being separated into their new teams today. she shook her head slowly most of them probably couldn’t beat a rock in a fight much less an actual enemy.
Scanning the room closer her eyes widened slightly. ‘They surely were an odd looking bunch. A walking pineapple, a Dora look-a-like, emos, and cotton candy haired children. Without a doubt half these kids will be dead by next week’, she thought sweat dropping as she thought this.
Shaking her head slightly she turned back to Iruka, “They are receiving their teams today correct?” She questioned folding her hands behind her back.
