A voice of a man shouted, "trash this place! There's a demon inside, i'm sure of it!" followed by manly cheers afterwards. Sabito glared to the source of the voice, angered. "What the heck?!" He exclaimed, before looking at you. "Miss Kanae, you better hide!" He turned his back to you and started to run. You and Makomo followed Sabito in haste as you began to hear loud noises of furnitures being knocked down, and doors being barged open.

"Find that demon!"

"Trash this place!"

"Kill it! Kill it!"

Sabito sped up, and now Makomo is pulling your hand, forcing you to run faster. Worried, you turned around once more to see a door being kicked down by a leg in a brown boot, then averted back to the ghost children. You gritted your teeth, then stomped your foot to a halt. Sabito and Makomo glanced at you in shock, their foreheads sweating. Sabito raised his voice, "miss Kanae —"

"There it is!" Yelled the man who kicked the door down, pointing at your direction as his fellow men stood behind his shoulders. "The demon!! Kill it!"

As the humans build their courage and began rushing towards you, you curved the ends of your lips to make a kind, assuring smile before you patted Makomo and Sabito's head. You spoke gently, "don't worry... I'll make them leave." Turning around to the people as your lips slowly pursed, and your eyes glowing in bright purple.

The men did not stop, they just keep on charging to you. Soon, the leader was in front of you, he hoisted his rake then hammered it down, aiming for your head. However, he missed. With your speedy reflexes, you had swiftly dodged his attack, then shoved him away with your wings, causing a powerful, abrupt wind. The wind blew the humans to the end of the hallway, man on top of another man. Sabito and Makomo watched the action in awe, amazed.

While the invaders groaned in pain, you stepped up to them with a demonic air; eyes flickering in rage; wings glittering prepossessingly. Eventually, you stood before their eyes and looked down to them.

Not until a few seconds later that the leader of the men cleared his vision and craned his neck to you. Crouching in fear, his breaths shortened and he was gasping for air. "D-Demon..." he croaked, "D-D-Demon!! Aarrghh!!" The leader stood up and immediately rushed away like a coward dog, soon to be followed by his comrades. They ran in fear, and you hoped that this would be a lesson for them. After they finally left, you looked at the ghost children, only to see them smiling.
You smiled back.

Suddenly, a familiar voice called your name, accompanied by a familiar footsteps too. You glanced around to see a red headed boy in green kimono jacket, and a demon girl in her usual pink kimono, pattering towards you. You gleed and opened your arms wide to give the demon girl a warm hug. "Nezukooo!!" You cheered by the time Nezuko was in your arms, twirling happily. Then, you turned to Nezuko's brother after you put her down. "Tanjirouuu!!" You hugged him tightly. So tight that his eyes widened as you squeezed harder. "O-Okay... I... need to..." he wheezed, "breaaathee..!!"

"Oh my!" You panicked and instantly released him, "sorry! I was too excited!"

"Mm~" Nezuko hummed.

Tanjirou took a few deep breaths. He clutched his chest, and exhaled loudly. Then, he glanced at you with a worried look on his face. "Miss, are you okay?" He asked, sweating, "we heard screams and loud noises from the house, so we decided to check. But when we reached, herds of men came out in fear as if they've seen something really scary!" Tanjirou then stared at you with his usual kind eyes, "but it is just you," he said grinning, "and Sabito! And Makomo too!"

At that moment, you froze in surprise. You slowly looked over your shoulder to the ghost children who were just standing stiffly, waving at Tanjirou. You raised a brow, catatonic, "you've met each other?"
Moreover, Tanjirou can see the ghost children!

Makomo giggled sheepishly, and twirled her pointing fingers around her hair while averting her eyes to the floor. "We helped him in his training."

"Heard that Mr. Urokodaki was planning to have Tanjirou in the Demon Slayer Exam." Sabito continued, "of course, we can't let him go powerless. After all, he's one of us."

"Mm!! Mm!!" Nezuko cheered in glee.

You looked at Tanjirou and asked, "so, did you succeed?"

Tanjirou nodded with a grin. "I even get my own crow! But my crow is probably off somewhere to find for a mission. In the meantime, Nezuko and I are catching grasshoppers for fun."

"Grasshoppers?" You blinked.

"Mm!!" Nezuko hummed, as usual. You turned around to Nezuko, only to find her holding a big, transparent box filled with grasshoppers. Some are huge, and some are small. You grinned widely, and clapped. "Waaa~!! That's amazing~!!"

"Mmm~!!" Nezuko cheered, just when Tanjirou's crow appeared out of the blue, bringing you and the team a horrifying news.

𝗞𝗔𝗪! 𝗞𝗔𝗪!

The crow flew, and plopped on Tanjirou's head. It spoke sharply, "all Demon Slayers, whether you're high ranked or not... hurry to the Headquarter this instant!"

Sabito flinched, "the Headquarter?"

"Kibutsuji Muzan just attacked the Headquarter!"
