I was finally ready and I was already delayed by ten minutes. I grabbed my khaki coat and black bag then ran outside. "Late as always I see," Johnny said as he passed me a bike helmet.

"Sorry it took me a bit longer than usual to wake up and get ready," I replied.

"Well you look as beautiful as always." I kissed Johnny on the cheek then hurled myself onto the back of the Harley Davidson which happens to be favourite bike and has been for as long as I can remember, I want one I grow up in matt black. "We better hurry so hold on tight." I wrapped my arms around Johnny's chest tightly and we speed off down the street.

We finally arrived at the ice cream parlour and headed inside. Charlotte and Robbie were both already sat inside stuffing their faces with strawberry ice cream for Charlotte and caramel ice cream for Robbie, they were both massive foodies. I sat at the table with them whilst Johnny went to order for us. "So, I heard from a little bird that our sweet little Ellie here has a new friend," Charlotte said as she stuffed a massive spoonful of ice cream into her mouth causing a brain freeze.

"Who's this new friend I'm hearing about?" Johnny asked as he gave me my sundae which was made up of my two favourite flavours which was mango and cookie dough. "Do I need to feel threatened by this kid?"

"Of course not babe."

"So, who is this kid?"

"His name is Jamie," Robbie stated. Of course, my friends would be all over him and going on and on about him. "Is he nice?" Charlotte asked nervously.

"I guess but I still don't trust him and will make sure to keep up my guard at all times." I want to trust him but how can I when he's friends with the people that spent so long doing whatever they can to torture me and make me feel like poop. "I think you should lower your guard a bit and actually let this one in. He might be different."

"He could be."

"Ellie, he wants to be your friend so don't push him away." I didn't answer and instead just ate my ice cream looking like a girl that was just dumped.

"I still find Ellie's order disgusting like who orders mango and cookie dough together," Robbie laughed.

"This is Ellie we're talking about she likes to eat Oreos and pickles,"

"that was one-time guys." We all started laughing our heads off. They always know how to cheer me up and make laugh.

"Beep! Beep!" Once again, there goes my evil alarm sucking me back into this hell called reality.
