Chapter Seven

¨Willow Justine Davis, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?¨ Hayes asked me.

¨I uh… I umm… OF COURSE!!¨ I said jumping up to give him a hug.

¨Really? Thats awesome!! I'm just happy that I can now call you mine.¨ He said as he wrapped his arms around me.

We pulled apart and then started to eat.

¨Wow Hayes! Did you do all of this for me?¨ I said shocked at how much food was laid out on the picnic blanket.

¨Uhhh…. well actually Nash helped a bit… a lot.¨ he said deciding not to hide it.

¨This is so sweet!!¨ I said starting to engulf myself with food.

After we finished, we took a moon-lit walk on the beach.

Yea, yea, yea it was very cheesy and very cute!

¨Okay lets play the question game!!¨ he said very enthusiastically.

¨What's that?¨ I said not ever hearing of this game.

¨We just take turns asking each other questions. They can be random, dirty, serious, or funny but no matter what you can't laugh!!¨ he said getting into it.

¨Okay I think I'm ready! But please go easy on me!! This is my first time!¨ I said finally giving into him and playing his game.

¨Okay! Do you want me to start?¨ he asked.

¨Yea sure.¨

¨Yasss!! Gotcha! That was a question!!¨ he said clearly happy.

¨Hayessssssss you said you were going to go easyyyyyyyyy!!¨ I complained.

H- ¨Wheres your mom?¨

W- ¨Can we please slow down?¨

H- ¨Can you please stop complaining?¨

W- ¨You mad bro?¨

H- ¨Do you prefer tampons or pads?¨
W- ¨Oh! Are we getting dirty now?¨

H- ¨Are you a virgin?

W- ¨Did you bring a condom?¨
H- ¨Are you on your period?¨

W- ¨Do you think Jesus would approve?¨

H- ¨Do you find it necessary to bring God into this?¨

W- ¨Did you know me and Nash are together?¨

H- ¨Did you know I know thats not true?¨

W- ¨What color is the sky?¨
H- ¨Did you know that I slept with your mom?

W- ¨WHAT??¨

Hayes erupted into a fit of laughter.

¨Did you know that I just won?¨ I said.

¨How??¨ Hayes questioned.

¨What is a question.¨ I said laughing myself seeing him realize that he lost his own game.

¨Ughhhh Okay you won this one babe.¨ he said calling me babe.

¨Okay how about we do one last challenge for winner takes all?¨ I suggested because he looked a little glum having just been beaten by a girl.

¨Okay what is it?¨ He asked suspiciously.

¨First one back to my house wins! NO CHEATS!¨ I yelled as I took off towards my house before i even said go.

I was pretty far ahead of him but then I started to slow down because I had not paced myself. I was breathing heavily because I was winded and Hayes was catching up. Then I felt arms wrap around my waist and I was flung into the air. Hayes put me down and I turned around and looked him in the eye. He leaned in and I did too. Our lips touched halfway and then his lips were gone faster than they had appeared. I looked in the direction of my house and Hayes was sprinting there.

¨JERK!!¨ I yelled to show him I was upset. But he didn't know of my secret path that I used to take to get away from them when they used to bully me. I ran all the way home before he did. I quickly grabbed a popsicle and sat down on the stairs outside of my house, trying to make it look like I had been there for a while.

He showed up a while later out of breathe.

¨How was your run? I asked breathing normal.

I offered him some of my popsicle, but instead of reaching to get it he cupped his hands around my head and brought my head up to meet his. Our lips met and sparks flew instantly.

We went inside and sat down.

¨I love you Willow.¨ he said looking me in the eye and expecting for me to say it back.

But did I? I don't think that I should say something like that this early in the relationship. But I really do think that I do. Should I tell him or just keep it to myself for fear of what would happen if this was just a joke. What if he was just toying with my emotions trying to make a fool of me. He probably didn't even care. What was I going to say??

((A/N)) Sorry I've sorta been having writer's block! And I have just had so many tests and quizzes lately that I just don't have a lot of time since my parents are so strict so its the #schoolfirst rule. Haha what do yall think shes going to say. Personally if Hayes told me he loved me I would get down on one knee and propose. Haha well I did a double update for the first time so yayayay! Please comment any suggestions I should make to the story because I don't knowwwww!!!!
