The remainder of Senior year went by in a flash. Jacob enjoyed time with his friends, reunited with his mom and sister once again, and even dated a cute boy he met from an opposing track team for a bit. It wasn't hard to stay away from Troye. Jacob didn't know what happened, but about a week after his run-in with Troye, Troye stopped coming to school. There were some rumbles about it at first, but Eric and his friends seemed to put an end to it all rather quickly and that was it. School went back to how it was before the notorious emerging pop star wreaked havoc, and life was good. Jacob graduated with high honors, was accepted into the college of his choice and studied for about a year before he decided to pursue modeling full time. His parents weren't thrilled about the idea, but Jacob decided it was up to him to live for himself and not let others dictate what he should do. Besides, school was something he could always go back to.

Two years post high school, Jacob was still enjoying life. He got to see the world and meet new people and he was quickly approaching his 21st birthday. He had everything he could have ever want, at least he thought he did.

And this is where our story picks up. Jacob was in his apartment organizing his vintage t-shirts and listening to the radio, when the host introduced his guest for the hour.

"We've been anticipating this album for years now and finally here to talk to us about Blue Neighbourhood is Australia's sweetheart, Troye Sivan."

Immediately Jacob turned the volume on the radio up and sunk into his bed. He hadn't heard THAT name in years.

"Australia's sweetheart?" He heard Troye's voice come over his speakers with a laugh, "Wow, thank you."

"Please, once everyone heard you were coming on the show all they did was tell me about how sweet you are. Sorry if you don't like the nickname, but I think I am going to make it stick."

Troye laughed again, "It's not a problem, I've been called much worse."

Jacob cringed. Jacob listened for the entire hour as they discussed Troye's album and played a couple of Troye's songs. He had to admit that he was rather impressed with how well spoken Troye came off. After all, Troye was far from the brightest crayon in the box when they were in school, though maybe everyone judged him too harshly.

"So you're playing a live show tomorrow night?" The DJ asked as the hour was coming to an end.

"I am. I think there's very limited tickets left, but if anyone is interested they can find me on like social media, the name's Troye Sivan. I'm really excited for the concert and my upcoming tour and album. It's going to be great. Thank you so much for having me."

"Thank you, Troye."

And as soon as the radio cut to a commercial Jacob shut it off, pulled out his phone and ordered three tickets to Troye's concert. He then opened a text to Hari and his sister-

Jacob:
I need you both to come to an event with me tomorrow night, please and thank you.

Hari:
Sure because I only live to make you happy

Angelina:
Ok. Is everything alright?

Jacob:
Ya I just have two extra tickets to a concert and want to spend time with my fave girls

Hari:
Mmmhmm. Pick me up at 6?

Jacob:
Yep! Angie be ready at 6:30, ok?

Angelina:
See you then- love you!

The next day, Jacob didn't tell his sister and Hari where they were going until they were standing outside of the venue. Angelina and Hari stared with wide eyes at Troye's name on the marquee.
