THE typical sound of the clock that it was placed on her bedside table was sounding within seconds. It was late at night and she couldn't sleep. She was too worried about the spite of the fact that she and Mathew couldn't solve anything because every time she was about to explain everything that she was feeling that Mathew would ended up getting frustrated and annoyed because of his jealousness.

Both were laying on bed, but none of them were facing or hugging each other at any moment.
On one hand, he was entertained by reading a book on his e-book, trying to avoid her at least until he got sleepy enough to finally get rest under the sheets.
Whereas, she was just staring at the ceiling and feeling consumed by her thoughts and emotions...
She remembered how desperate he was acting, when she went straight at the bathroom after finishing the argument she was having with her partner. And how the first thing she did was to speak to her sister Poppy about it by messages yet, she wanted to tell Adam about it. They had been best friends for such a long period of time, and she didn't think that it was a bad think to let him know... However, when she decided to make the phone call, and not having a response by the third tone, she was about to hung up the phone but supposedly, Adam was faster than her. Leaving her completely speechless. She didn't know if it was him or if it was Aubrey the one who actually hung up. So, she decided to send him a message warning him about what happened.

MESSAGES:

Daisy: Hey! I'm completely aware it's late but I just wanted to talk about what happened tonight because there is a thing I haven't told you... I also wanted to know if everything was ok there.

END OF MESSAGES.

Sadly, she didn't get a response back. But although she wanted to keep a conversation with him, she also was pleased to know her mind would stop thinking about the argument for a few minutes...

Getting back to reality, Mathew already left his e-book on the bedside table, and he wanted to finish the night by muttering just a simple 'goodnight' to her, however, on the other way around, Daisy couldn't take it anymore and she rolled her body to the other side to then facing him. He was having his eyes closed peacefully. The muscles of his body and face looked relaxed. But deep down she knew he wasn't even that tired to fall asleep that rapidly. After taking a deep breath and keeping it for a long time, she did get closer to him, letting him know that she was kind of apologising without pronouncing any type of words.

He did feel her. Her delicious, pleasing delicate smell of Coco Chanel made him to breath heavily. His chest would raise to then ending up sighing... Mathew was now having his right arm around her , while she was doing the same exact thing but with her left arm.
Her other hand was placed on his hard chest, while she was having her head snuggled on it as well, but within seconds of both of them moving, she was having her head placed on the crook of his neck, while he was having now both his arms hugging her tightly to his body.

She wanted to talk, to say anything, but it just felt so good having him hugging him like if he was gonna go... Both their scents were mixed, and it felt completely heavenly... Their legs not knowing why, got intertwined. And now that they were hugging, it was going to be impossible the break the embracing.

"Stay close..." Matt muttered softy, making her grin with her eyes now closed. After a while, he started to caress her head, and neck carefully to then caressing her back.

"I'm sorry." Daisy finally recognized, now making him to tighten his jaw. Her words were sincere and he knew it by how gentle she sounded when she spoke.

"I'm sorry too." Under his breath he apologised as well. To then pressing a quick kiss on the top of her head. After he got his head separated, she raised her head and after looking at each other, he pressed his lips on her own. And it did felt extremely different from any other kiss that they had ever have.

They used to argument a lot the past month, and they didn't know which date it was when they had their last kiss but knowing how deeply and desperate the kiss felt after a few seconds, both knew that they haven't kissed in so long. And that was really weird about them. Because, when they're together they can't be without one and other. They were the type of relationship who liked to act clingy and needy yet they could handle easily the fact of being thousands of kilometers away from each other for like a month...

Both liked to be independent, but they knew they couldn't live without one another. Every single fight could literally tell by words this perfectly. They start talking about something that one of them agrees or doesn't like, and then they start arguing about it for a long period of time. But not until gossips of her dating her best friend, and co-star Adam came out on social media he started to get jealous. And the arguments of a single day turned to become in absurd fights at any moment. And this fight was one of them although, at this point he just got tired and to mistrust.

"I hate when we fight." She spoke, her words being full of honesty, pain and sorrow.
After he heard her she snuggled her face on his t-shirt. Whereas, he closed his eyes and he just pressed his lips forming a thin line.

"Me too." He whispered tiredly.

"Matt...?" Daisy murmured softly on his left ear, making him smile. She was having her head raised again and that made him to lower his chin.

"Yes, love?" He asked in the same soothing tone. Mathew was gazing at her so loving... It was almost painful how he looked at her like if she was his everything.
Not expecting it, she raised her body a little, now having their heads almost on the same heigh. And placing her hand on his jaw, she kissed him softly one last time before they finally got asleep.
