1: The death of a Cat

Im going to be getting right into it and i will be explaining everything about the characters pasts but in their point of vue but everything you need to know is in the book bio, i dont own victorious i only own my own plot, everything else is owned by Dan Shnideir and nickelodion

two day's was all it took for jade to find her, 3 day's after she was told that her destiny was with 2 girls and it was the day after Caterina had turned 18, the Arizona sun was fading slowly but surely but for the last 5 hours jade had been stalking Caterina, just waiting for the chance to whisk her away, but the more jade watched her the more she realized what she planned for Caterina was going to be more of a gift to her than for the vampire, her family was taken away earlier in the year and her brother had been the only survivor due to not being involved with the fire that was set on their home, Caterina had been at her part time job at the time but her parents and grandparents and her aunts and uncles weren't so lucky, they  were cooking a late Thanksgiving dinner and was just waiting for Caterina to come home but they were surprised to find out there was a gas leak in the house but it was too late.

All it took was one of Caterina's uncle's who had a habbit of lightning cigarettes inside, in an instant they were dead, a freak accident is what the fire department said and Caterina would have been in the fire as well if she had gone home  right after her shift but instead she went to visit her brother who was in a coma, a coma that was caused by falling out of a 6 story building and landing on top of a shuttle bus, an accident that Caterina was responsible for, so she felt she had to come visit her brother on Thanksgiving night and she left the hospital 1 hour later but she wasn't greeted with her loving family waiting for her, no, what she was met with was far more tragic than that , all in one fell swoop on Thanksgiving night she was orphaned, needless to say she wasn't thankful anymore, a couple months later and she was drowning in her brother's medical bills, bills that had to be paid otherwise she would have to pull the plug and say goodbye to yet another family member, so to say she was desperate was an understatement,  she sold her body to anyone who looked her way and had a big wallet or purse, like i said she was desperate, to do all of that she dropped out of high school and took extra shifts at her job, that is until she was fired because she was only supposed to be working part time and she would constantly stay clocked in to gain a extra hour or two but it caught up to her and she could already barely stay conscious during her talks with HR and they decided she wasn't worth their time, an hour later she got a call that she was needed at the hospital and that she had news of her brother, so she wiped her tears off and calmed herself down and drove her car to the hospital where she was met by a group of doctors with sad looks on there face but she didn't hear a single word after she heard  "he passed away" ,she had felt shattered and she passed out from shock and exhaustion.

When Caterina woke the next day she was greeted with news that she was pregnant and was about 10 weeks along, which would have been right around the time that she started selling herself for money, it also explained why she always felt sick and exhausted ,the  estimated birth date would be a month after her birthday, Caterina being scared and afraid of what it all meant was willing to give her unborn child up for adoption and wouldn't have an abortion and she didn't have the money to raise a child, it was only after her brother's funeral did she realize that she was alone, completely and utterly alone but then she realized that she hadn't been alone, not completely because she had one more family member, one that was growing inside of her, and that was the moment she decided that she would keep the baby ,but unfortunately for her she had a miscarriage 8 weeks before her baby's due date , that whole time in the ER she knew something was wrong and she was bleeding a lot,so much so she could have sworn she passed out and felt her heart stop, a few hours later she awoke to see a doctor who had a traumatised expression on his face "I'm sorry miss valentine your son didn't make it we had a choice to make and if we chose to save your baby the chances were 23 to 77 percent of success but you would have died in the process and the child's safety wasn't a sure thing to start with ,he was bleeding a lot and he wasn't fully grown and usually a month before the baby is born is ok to incubate but he was too small and we were afraid that he wouldn't survive that long, your chances of survival was 98% and you suffered no injuries other than the c section and the scars you'll have forever but otherwise you were successful, i...i'm sorry for your los-" "DONT!" Caterina snapped out of a flurry of emotions and she just sobbed and whispering to her self "my poor baby boy! My poor baby!" Over and over again the tears running like a waterfall stream, the doctor got that she wasn't just grieving her son but only and final member of her whole family "we will pay for funeral arrangements and I will personally see to it that you don't get charged for this whole ordeal of your miscarriage or for your brother, i really am sorry miss valentine " with that the doctor left Caterina alone with her thoughts on her stillborn son.
